How close is the white ice cap paint color? Anyone have a pic?

 

My ice cap was spot on. I can’t tell a difference between the factory paint and the bumpershell. You can see my post #336 in this thread for more pics

I know you already saw a pic, but I also wanted to let you know that the plastic we use for our Ice Cap color is based on the prime color code for 040: Toyota Super White II/Ice Cap, so we would be surprised if it wasn't a close match.
(sun-fading and other variations on your truck can cause it to look different however, that result is not typical).

 

Pretty excited for solar octane on the fog lights. That'll be an interesting color to match.

 

We don't have any orders for the Solar Octane BumperShellz, unfortunately.

 

Yeah, they all come paint matched. But you are going to do SO for the fog light bezel, correct?

To ballpark, what would a lead time be on a lunar rock if I ordered today?

We're looking at about 3-4 weeks. We need to make more of our paintables (as well as all other colors) for our parts and we're doing a run this week to cover everyone who has ordered from May 27th and beyond. I would order NOW so you can ensure your part is one of those in the run we are doing this week. If you wait longer and miss that window, you might be looking at a couple of months lead time.

Installed the Lunar Rocks. Maybe somebody already posted theirs but I didn’t see them. Color looks spot on to me. Sorry for the bad pics it was dusk before I finished but it was bright when I started and color match looked perfect to my eye.

I guess I shouldn’t say perfect match the BumperShellz don’t have the classic Toyota OEM Orange peel texture. Lol

Mine appear to be lost in some UPS hell. Been in a "Due to operating conditions, your package may be delayed" and "a delivery date will be provided as soon as possible" since 7/15.

 

Oh man, those look GOOD! And uhh, well, these got delayed because they had something very similar to the OEM Orange Peel but it was on the top and we buffed it out

We're making some minor changes to the tape layout today. But I imagine it will ship out tomorrow or Monday.

 

Any idea on wait time for smoke mosquite (4x4)? Want to order but afraid it's going to take forever due to limited popularity.

 

Upper management had a 2.5 hour or longer meeting with our painter yesterday, so now instead of him just painting all willy nilly, he has a plan. We don't have any more paintable parts right now but we are doing a run tomorrow or Monday, so you'd be looking at about 3-4 weeks before we ship it out if you were to purchase today.

If you wait longer, it could be a couple of months, since we are going to count all our orders before we make our next batch.

Did the price get bumped another hundred? Went order a Lunar Rock and it is now $500. I hate the chrome but that is getting a little pricey.
