overall height

Looking to see if a new 23/24 factory height tundra would fit through my 7' garage door.
Does anyone know it the overall height is to the tip of the roof antenna, or is that 78" measurement to the roofline?

 

It’s 78” to the top of the antenna. I measured myself to verify.

I fit comfortably in a 7 foot clearance parking garage today. This is with a stock SR5 TRD Offroad.

 

Thanks for the info, I've always wondered if the published height included the shark fin.

 

You may want to double check the length of the truck as well. These new trucks are long boys.

 

That's a good point too. My 2023 Tundra with a 5.5 foot bed is still 2 feet longer than my 2011 Sequoia is. Also, don't forget to factor in if you regularly have a hitch connected. My wife closed the garage door on the ball last night. It's a tight fit and we're still getting used to it.

 

If your garage doors are 8 feet wide, like mine are, don't forget to roll your rearview mirrors in before pulling in.
