Finally added my running boards what a difference.
Windows tinted 35%on the front, 5%on the rear and back.
I did get new tire and rims but the tires are not what I was expecting. So ordered replacements, running 275/60/20s now instead of the 18s’

I took the Tundra on the beach for the first time (not sure if that counts in this thread).

also decided a bed step is a must so I’ll be ordering that. That’ll be the first mod I do myself.

 

With the windows done it makes that red pop!

• First mod was the first 20 minutes I had it in the driveway. Tore off the stupid "SX" bed decal. Who advertises they bought the lowest package on the 2nd lowest trim level? LOL.

not that I consider tint a “mod” but getting my windshield done was the best thing I’ve ever done for any vehicle. Driving in Colorado mountains is especially “fun” at sunrise/sunset. The tint has help out so much in keeping me on the road and not off the side of the mountain. Lol

PS. That red looks deep.

@Diode Dynamics flush mount lights. Plastidipped chrome bumper caps. Learn from my mistake… attempted to center lights on caps. Cut holes, painted went to install and hitch reinforcement in the way… had to bondo holes and redo everything. 1/2 day project to 3 days

 

Added the fas-top soft top camper. Dog approved

 

Washed, clay barred, polished and then Graphene Creamic coated everything bumper to bumper. I am good for about 9 years.
Does anyone else think these truck look like race truck?

Added the FITCAMX dash cam very easy to install. Works on iOS or android.
It ships from China so it took about a week to get to California.

As a big Chiefs fan I had to break up the silver and black with some color. I got some Tufskinz letters (TRD Gloss Red) for the front bumper and tailgate. I'm not 100% sold on the tailgate letters being red, but I'll give it some time.

 

Agreed. I actually used to have one. I took it off at some point to haul a trailer and never put it back on. I have found every piece involved expect the actual cover. It's one of those situations where you know you'll find it once you order a new one. As such I've resisted.

It’s there. It’s this one in the picture. It plugs into factory power yes, the hardest part (which was easy) was getting the Toyota plastic off. You switch two connectors and add on the oem clips pop it back on and then add the app to your phone. They email you to confirm your model and year before they ship to make sure you get correct one.
