Have a question about alignment. The trucks pulls to the right and this is the second alignment done at the dealership.

23 tundra platinum, stock suspension but with 275 65 20 tires.

I think I need them to adjust caster to closer to 4 to eliminate the right pull.

But my question is why I have a range of negative numbers for toe? All the other alignment paperwork I have seen for the 3rd Gen is a range of positive or toe in number.

Your taller tires have changed the vehicle height. So, it's likely one of the taller specs applies to your truck. If you look at the chart Ryan provided, the taller height specs do in fact have a negative toe-in.

Assuming that's correct, your caster should be closer to 5.7 degrees according to the chart. Also, the chart clearly says the left to right difference in caster should be +/- 0.75 degrees maximum. Yours is 1.3 degrees, which is clearly out of spec. I think you have a bone to pick with the service manager at your dealership.

Thanks for the info. Yea I’m definitely going to let them know. Brought the truck in the 2nd time because it was pulling right after the initial alignment and all they did was a toe alignment (which doesn’t really affect the “pull”). Just ran out of time yesterday.

I do wonder if I still should have them adjust the toe to something like .10 as the Westcott video had a toe in and that truck I believe was lifted or modified.

Alignment specs, including toe-in, all depends on vehicle height, as clearly shown in the chart. I would not vary from the specs in that chart.

I suspect your dealership is neglecting to measure the vehicle height, then plug in the correct specs to their alignment computer.

I would visit the dealership with that chart in hand. Then I'd ask the tech what the vehicle height measurement is. Then use the spec that correspond to that measurement. Your right pulling problem is undoubtedly due to the right caster angle being 1.3 degrees less than the left. It's compounded by the fact that you don't have enough caster on either side based on the vehicle height.

Excellent chart. How is height measured i wonder? I recently installed slightly larger tires and planning to do an alignment just in case slight adjustment is needed.

Alignment is off center of wheel at ride height and center of lower cam adjuster nut. Ive put on a few Wescott with 35 on 22 and 23 tundra and being 35 is out of chart spec. I set them at 4 ° and 0 camber with -.05 total front tow and tires are good after 20k. On pros....

Being a DIYer, how would one go about getting this measurement?
