Right there in the same price point as all the other brands. They shouldn't have dragged their feet so long on this release. They lost a good bit of customers doing so.

    Curious why?
They use the same Eaton rotors so performance would likely be very similar.

It comes with an aftermarket airbox. This airbox has better flow and is located closer to the firewall which is nicer for my whine mod that i did. It also seems based on videos that it whines more than the stealthy sounding harrop. Also Magnusson has that 30000 mile warranty which is really nice. I prefer the look of the magnusson too.

You can upgrade too if you have the previous version. You would retain the fuel mods that have been done and just replace the blower and airbox. I saw a video where someone upgraded from the old version and they did it say it whines alot more

So the big advantage to the new blower is... it whines more?

Way more efficient and has the potential to make more power

the 2650 can make 1000hp where as the 1900 is small and spins much more with no where near the potential to make that much

Those numbers have no basis in reality considering my 136k mile '13 Sequoia did this...

He has a Harrop, the upgrade is for the Maggie.
Go look at the Eaton spec charts. Efficient in terms of parasitic loss. For some reason the 2300 is less efficient according to them.

But how many tundras do you know that make 1000 HP?

I have to admit, I'm being a bit of troll here. I found it funny that the excitement was all about the extra whine. I understand that a larger blower has more potential for power, but out of the box the 13 HP makes me scratch my head as to why so much more efficiency and potential only adds up to 13 hp at the same 7 psi as the TVS1900.

Whatever this forum told me to do
perfect blend would be Harrop S/C with the new Mag intake & airbox.

plus the magnuson is still upside down!

I still like the harrop twin I/C bricks - compared to the single brick of the mag. I see mag says it has twin I/C bricks, but the picture tells another story.

    Too many mods to come
There’s more to blowers than peak power. More efficient rotors, less Iat temps etc etc. You want the biggest positive displacement blower you can have

1000HP? Not many without a crap ton of engine and transmission mods.

There is the rub, it depends your power goals, most of those numbers posted by the blower manufacturers are numbers at the crank they deviate from there. For towing TVS 1900 is a great choice.

The mag is now the same as the harrop, albeit two years late

the Eaton TVS2650 is used in a few s/c’d cars, corvette and gt500, etc

Both of these 2650 units are top notch

you can’t go wrong with either

Same TVS screws from Eaton. Packaging will be the primary difference performance will be very similar. Maggie offers a 3 year warranty on the TVS 1900 so they will probably offer the same on the TVS 2650.

Correct. The link at the top shows wheel horsepower but I couldn’t remember offhand the wheel hp for the TVS1900 for comparison. As @e30cabrio pointed out, numbers in reality are/can be quite different but I figured that comparing factory Maggie numbers to factory Maggie numbers was about as close as it gets. And I was honestly being a bit of troll trying to elicit the real advantages of the 2650 other than…

    …it whines more…

Too bad @ViktorG 's YT channel got nuked, I think the crossover point of when it is advantageous to go with the bigger blower is buried in one of @ViktorG 's various threads/videos. I see in his 1000HP thread he switched over from the TVS 1900 to the TVS 2650 well before 750WHP (his last posted run). Looks like he was on a 2.3 inch pulley with the smaller Maggie blower before making the switch.
