I've purchased pads for other cars that came with new shims. but the Toyota kit looks like it just pads, is that correct? anyone know the shim part numbers?

Update: Answered my own question. Neither front or rear OEM pads come with any type of hardware. I obtained all the part numbers for the hardware. I just placed this ordered so if any of this ends up being incorrect when the package arrives I will update.

    Front Rotors 43512-0C020
    Front Pads 04465-02440
    Front Shim Kit 04945-0C040
    Front Pad Fit kit 04947-0C030
Front Pad Pin 90240-06024 (need to order 4)
Front Pad Pin Clip 90016-AS903 (need to order 2)
    Rear Rotors 42431-0C011
    Rear Pads 04466-02340
    Rear Shim Kit 04946-02110
    Rear Fit Kit 04948-02140

My OEM set did not. Reused my shims after cleaning them up and lubing them.

Yeah I just decided to order new OEM ones, the shims, pins and clips are not too expensive, I put the part numbers above. I live in the north east where they salt in the winter so stuff like that gets corroded, especially those pins in the front so Id rather just put new ones in while I'm at it.

I just did my front brakes. I went with OEM rotors but I bought Hawk LTS pads. I have used them in the past and I like them. My drivers side caliper did not have the clip. I find it weird that Toyota would forget to put it on. It's the first time the brakes have been touched so it's not like someone else forgot to put it back. I found it weird. That's for the part number, I have to order one now that you posted this.

Here's the clip I am talking about. It's an anti rattle clip. 04947-0C030 You can add it to your parts list.

One. Positive of this as I just did all four corners on my 19 for the first time a few weeks ago.

I'm blurry on position, but I believe they were top.

That part I also posted in the OP as "Front Pad Fit Kit" https://autoparts.toyota.com/products/product/fitting-kit-disc-br-049470c030 it It comes with 2 of those clips, one for each side. It If you watch this video can see where it goes. That other pin clip I posted is to hold the pin that hold the pads.

Kinda weird that it brings only those clips. You would figure "kit" would bring everything. I have to order another clip tomorrow from the dealer.

Yeah its really annoying, it took me over an hour last night to find all the different part numbers. When I order pads for my families Subarus, the kit comes with pads, clips, shims and little packets of grease.

Yeah, dont get me started on Toyotas parts website. It gives a partial number on the parts diagram. No list or numbers. It's like, here's part of the number, find the rest.

Yeah the old part site was way better and used to list the other parts in the diagram below the part you're looking at. Now with those partial number listed it makes it very difficult especially since part numbers change. This was actually why I started this post hoping someone had the numbers I was looking for but then I just went down a rabbit hole and found them all. They definitely didnt make it any easier with this new site.

Your front shim kit is wrong. It should be 04945-0C040.

Was looking at replacing rotors after mechanic turned them too much. Lots of great info, think I’ll stick to OEM

THANK YOU. I called my local dealer today, 'Hi I need a price on pads and rotors for my Tundra". "That will be $812".

I put these same part numbers into their own online parts ordering site, and came out to $561. WTF. Clicked the order button and waiting on email to pick up. Are they just charging list prices when you call them or something?

The dealer prices are always cheaper online for what ever reason, they are dumb because if they just set normal prices people would just go to their local dealer but if you shop around you will see different dealers have different prices, i will look at 15-20 different dealers when Im placing orders to find the best prices.

When I order parts through my dealer, I do it online. The parts always have a discount and then on top of that, if it's a major holiday, they give another discount. I once asked the parts guy why they can't give the same price as online and he basically had no reply. I don't know if they get bonuses on parts sales, I use to sell parts and we did, but it sucks for them because they lose money from all the online sales.

My guess is because the majority of parts they sell in-house are to themselves for service work and they want to upcharge the customers as much as possible
