I installed catalytic converter shields today. I went with Cali Raised for these and I figured I'd post because I hadn't seen anyone here with them. Installation was super easy - took about an hour, and works well with the TRD skid plate.

I was a little worried that someone could slip a long blade through, but after installing them, I don't see how that would work. I live in Seattle and I feel _much_ better now about parking outside when I'm away from home. I also recently installed Go Rhino RB30s, which make it a little more difficult to get under the truck to begin with.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Has anyone else had an issue with Code p2c9000? I called service and they said something about possibly a hose disconnected or the air sensors. It sounds like my S&B intake could be the cause of the code, but it had no issue for over a month after install. I don't see any hoses disconnected. Either way, I'm taking the intake out before I take into dealership. Has anyone had any issue with an intake tripping codes?

I saw my Army green brethren posting so I thought I’d share my recent upgrades.

OEM TRD running boards and Katzkin leather seats. This is my first post so I’ll post the progression. Just got this baby like 3 weeks ago and love it.

Painted the bumper caps. 4 coats of paint+primer looked kind of bad, so I added 4 coats of plastidip. Hopefully it holds up.

I've been reading through the manual, and it does state that when it's wired in like it is, it does have a collision detector that wakes, records, and captures/stores it. Hopefully I don't find out if that works.

TRD Grille w/Rough Country LED, Tuffskinz products,

Received my AJT Cupholder today (wasn't in the mailbox like USPS said it would be yesterday), and found it very easy to modify my Cup Grip to fit.

    AIL4fc85Qj1WDc_EqhLmKv3JREBM2xP88nnx0nop_c5fb4fcad963d36bbae8830afa357368b774f96d.jpg

The original issue is the center dividers in the AJT designs holder won't allow the Cup Grip to fit down in there.

    AIL4fc9xYQfOU0x-RkmFrCD0_i13WSwECHE873eq_551eb2bee49bc71f0424150a500ce6de27aa3800.jpg

I did a super quick (and not the prettiest cuts) mod with a box cutter (and appropriate safety gear) and made a couple of notches down the side of the Cup Grip. I didn't really measure or mark off the cut area, and just eyeballed it. I could have made it a lot cleaner with a Dremel and cut off wheel, or heated up the razor blade, but I honestly just didn't care that much, as it won't be seen.

I just cut down a little on the sides, and every so often used some needle-nose pliers to break away a small section at a time. Again, crude, but effective. I kept it as narrow as I could with fitting, so it would be a somewhat tight fit.

Works great, and now I can fit both my big water bottle without the Cup Grip, and my UGA Big Cup won't tip over any more with the Cup Grip.

Entire process took about 10 minutes.

I may have to bust out the Dremel and get after it.

    Won't take you long.

All done with mine. For anyone that does this in the future, you can install the shift knob pin from the back to make it easier for future removals. EDIT: Scratch that. My pin fell out and down into the shifter boot, so I am headed back to put it back in the correct way. Nothing to capture it in the back.

Also added the AJT Designs Key Fob Cover.

Me too. I was about to pull the AJT cup holder out because of these exact issues. If this works, I will be pleased. If not, back to OEM I go…
