    Exhaust,
I have a set of trd coils with the colors red /yellow, and yellow/ purple. Can I put them on my 04 tundra double cab limited 4x2?

    Exhaust,
Thanks for the info. Is there a difference in the trd coils for access cab to double cab or are the springs the same? Also my friend has a set of with red/ purple, and purple purple? Has anyone seen those color combinations? I can't find any threads with them.

This is from my trd 04 DC 4x4. I'm not sure what you'd call this color. Red and pink?

Take a pic of that whole strut top to bottom. Those may be from another generation truck.

I didn't even know that was intentional by the manufacturer. I always thought the tech who changed my shocks the first time did that to the coils for some kind of alignment purpose.

    Good to finally know.

Hector, where did you purchase your springs from. I've been having trouble finding them.

    Thanks for the reply.

Anyone have any input on replacing the following installed coil springs from my 2006 Double Cab 2wd TRD with the same year but 4wd ones? Apparently, the original 2wd replacements have been discounted but the 4wd are still available. Truck has original Bilstein shocks (48510-AF130) with NO lift. And I will be replacing with Bilstein 4600.

48131-AF290 = 352mm/13.86in 2wd Double Cab (Right side TRD pkg)
48131-AF300 = 355.5mm/13.98in 2wd Double Cab (Left side TRD pkg)

48131-AF270 = 356.0mm/14.02in 4wd Double Cab (Right side) Don't know if for TRD pkg?
48131-AF280 = 360.5mm/14.19in 4wd Double Cab (Left side) Don't know if for TRD pkg?

If my calculations are correct, looks like I'll get about 1/8" to 3/16" height increase with the 4wd coil springs. I'm just not sure if the spring rate will be same??

I see these are out of stock at the moment but this is your best bet.

Finally got around to ordering shocks and springs. Ordered from 1stGenOffRoad. At the time, they were one of two places that sold as an assembly. Paid the extra $$ to get them assembled and ordered. I went with the Bilstein 6112 in front matched with the Bilstein coil springs and the 5100's in the rear. I was trying to get the 5100's with springs as an assembly in the front but on back order with no date in sight. I do some offroad driving because of work (oil and gas industry in West Texas). On occasion I do haul a trailer or load the bed with heavy materials. But driving split about 50/50 onroad/offroad so we'll see how these do.

Although slightly taller, my 2nd choice was the 4x4 TRD springs (OEM still selling and in stock). But I didn't want to mess with having to assemble them.

Wanted to give a shout out to assassin10000 and nickb_01trd for the helpful info. Thanks guys.
