Which hose, or are you meaning all the way from the tank to the spray nozzles?

Crazy wood rats.! I made a clean cut about 20 inches from the reservoir. Spliced into it. Couldn't get under the hood so did a work around. Took of the hose at the reservoir and plugged the spliced one in. Works so I guess that is all that matters. I am lucky it wasn't more. Had to order a new cabin filter too. Had the machanic put it up in the air and checked under the guard plate and in the dash. I think I caught it in time from further damage. Put all kinds of sticky traps out. Caught one so far.

Cool. Sounds like you got it sorted. You probably want to figure out what works for you to keep your unwanted guests out of the truck, they tend to really like the wiring insulation. You think that not having windshield sprayers suck, think about then getting into the wiring. Folks have tried a number of things, I sprayed some diluted peppermint oil all over in the engine compartment.

I started with peppermint spray. Then upped the ante with moth balls. Silly rat rebuilt his nest on top of the moth balls. So I now have sticky boards everywhere and am leaving the hood open. Maybe will get some string lights as well. It is war time!

Bait the spring traps on each wheel well overnight…..guarantee you get them. Maybe get some other critters attracted too though
