For those folks curious what the 2024s are looking like, this just arrived at the dealer. I’ll post some more pictures of what it looks like when I go pick it up tomorrow. Excited to move to something shiny and new from my 2016. Although I’ll have to learn to live with the chrome mustache for a while, I am really looking forward to the new toy. I had to spring for the hybrid, the extra torque made me more happy off the line.

The TRD OR package would’ve deleted all the chrome for you from the factory lol

Is that new for 2024? My 23 ltd TRD OR had chrome stache, handles and badges.

Nice. It's almost identical to my 22 LR OR but I do like the chrome around the windows. I see they left the chrome in the front still. Good luck with it. I'm sure they have most of the issues ironed out by now that I had (and still have) with my 22.

Can't speak for the 24s but The 23 SR5 was color matched. The 23 LTD TRD OR had a weird black/chrome combo (black wheels, chrome window trim, rear bumper and parts mentioned above).

To answer a few questions in thread- I initially wanted a 1794 because I like those seats the best. But I couldn’t deal with all of the brown wrap around inside. Likewise I like the platinum very much, especially the grille, but I really didn’t like the blue stitching and funny perforation pattern on those seats. So I found this one in transit that ticked most of the boxes. I negotiated an aggressive trade in for my 2016 tundra (at KBB private party sale price) and also got them to knock 5k off this one. Hybrid, 4wd, sunroof, 3d camera, and I actually liked the seats ok. With my discount I can deal with doing a black out soon if I chose to do so. It would have been better to order from the factory, but I opted to snag this one and not wait forever.

I love all the upgrades compared to my 2016. The display is awesome. I am taking it easy and following break in. I also found that the headliner is a little bit wonky, so I am working to get that replaced under warranty. It looks like poor worksmanship to me. I can deal with it for a while, but wanted to make sure I don’t get blamed for damage so I flagged it to the dealer. I picked it up yesterday in the rain so I didn’t notice this gremlin. That being said, I’m gonna get an extended platinum warranty. It isn’t so expensive given the risk.

IMG_0764.jpg Headliner with dented foam, divot. Plus there are some wrinkly areas around the sunroof. Not acceptable.

Looks awesome! Just joined the community as I picked up a Lunar Rock SR5 myself last night. Pumped. First Tundra...hell...Toyota ever. Im sure ill miss a few of the bells and whistles on the Limited, but i didn't want to pay as much for the limited package so I just kept it easy and pretty much went base but I love the TRD sport look. I will post more pics soon.

Lol…That is from the distributor / dealer. I am not a fan of stickers, after the tinting is cured I can remove.

Regarding the headliner, I made a few observations. I went to service department to see what they could do. Basically, he said there was no guarantee that whatever headliner gets shipped and installed would end up looking any better than what I have. Service manager then pointed me out to several demos and I observed some really rough looking headliners on the lot that were much worse than mine. Especially around the sunroof.
He did put it on record and I have the option of replacing it at some point if I want, service manager agreed. We discussed giving it some time to relax a bit with the heat, it might get a little less annoying/visibility to me.
