Something needs to happen that weekend. Already put my PTO time in with the household CEO and she’s made it pretty clear that there is a no-retrieval policy once submitted

 

Latest update from TW isn't looking good.

Don't listen to him. The cancellations have been getting to him. I just called the Discovery Center, lady said it is for sure open and she does not foresee it closing down again unless there is some other big disaster so we should be good.

If you guys want to get me a head count though I'll have a backup spot and plan saved in my back pocket just in case. Already was working on a few ideas

 

So is anyone here staying with us at San G or did everyone make new plans?

Been doing pretty good! Switched things up so now I can go on more trips and runs so things are way better

Site 19, I won't be up until saturday morning, but I'm ready to party and mingle that night .

Nm Brother just out here grindin away! Yea the plan is to bring him. As of right now it will be myself, my wife, the boy, and probably see if Tommy wants to roll. We will be heading up Saturday after his T-ball game.

Hahaha yes sir! He turned 5 in July. Kids help you realize how time flys and how old you are lol

 

Glad to hear it, wow they grow up fast. Looking forward to that wayyyy in the future haha. I’ve been up and down recently but overall things are good. Going to be bringing my girl friend with me. Although not sure what time we’ll be up there considering I’ll be at a wedding the night before

To all the tundras,
I hope you guys enjoyed your time in big bear.
Either at San G or in Big Bear it doesn’t matter where you are, it’s who you’re with.

I for one would like all the tundras back at San G.

We had 3 groups go off-road this year but they had to go down the mountain and back up both ways. They looked at it as it’s closer than going home and we get to hang out with cool people.

I know the Tundras are cool people and we should all hang out.

Maybe next year…

 

Here’s some pics from San G, had a fun time

Wish you guys camping in Holcomb Valley Ranch would have said something before hand so I could cruise by to hangout. Was really looking forward to hanging out with some more tundra folks.

Tundra did great on its first trip. Felt funny being able to do 50 uphill without any spike in RPMs like my taco would. Steering was pretty heavy on the trails, and made some noises at slow speeds when turning, but otherwise the tundra was a blast offroad! Glad to have it

 

We spent little time at camp, and knew from last year that trying to arrange a meet when we're all staying at different places is almost impossible. We focused on running trails and some of us travel so far to the mountain, it was not realistic to make that run down the mountain and back up again to get to dirt.

I hope we can get together at camp in future; the San G party is a magical thing!

Edit: I had so many text conversations leading up to the event, about moving to HVR, that I did not realize it never made it onto the forum. We figured that out when we started getting 'where are you?' texts. Sorry, Friends.
