So I guess it was the fact that they were KO2’s and not the fact they were pizza cutters, however, I did have a set of 35x12.5x17’s years ago on an F150 and they were nowhere near as slippery as the 10.5’s I was talking about. I dunno. I like the Kenda RT’s. I would pizza cutter them bitches. I also really liked the extra room in the wheel wells with the skinny’s. Fuck them BFG KO2s. The final straw was when I spun out on a freeway on-ramp, leaving me stopped facing traffic in the rain in the second lane of the freeway. Thankful I wasn’t involved in the accident that I caused. Lady swerved to avoid a head-on with me, and got creamed by a box truck. Her little SUV was toast. I felt bad for her. Got rid of those tires immediately. I wasn’t even going fast at all

This looks really good. Did they fit up exactly or did you need to do anything?

Thank you. They fit with no rubbing at all. I went with 265/70r17. Been running BFG AT’s for many many years in all kinds of weather and never had any issues with them. Great tire imo.

It definitely works well with the body style. I think I may go the same route and move away from the stock limited wheels.

The wheels on your truck are, by far, some of the best OEM wheels Toyota ever designed.

I agree 100%. I really like the TRD wheels and feel like it’s one of the best looking rims Toyota offers currently. They make them in different colors /matte, satin etc…

Agreed. That wheel is what I have for a spare. When I moved up to 17's I wanted a full size spare so I picked up one of those at a junkyard for $70.

She was fine. I mean, she was crying, her car was totaled and she might’ve pooped just a lil bit, but she wasn’t injured. She cut off a big truck goin about 30 mph faster than her. He hit the side of her car, just kinda knocking her out of the way. Probably would’ve been worse if he rear ended her, and probably would’ve been better if she just hit me head on. No time to weigh options in situations like that tho. Since my vehicle never made contact with hers, I wasn’t liable for any of it. Kinda seems like a fukt up loophole to me but she had full coverage, and the box truck did also stop. I think she got a vehicle upgrade out of it and is thankful that it happened. That’s what I tell myself anyways.

What’s funny is the 4R trail wheels are 7.5” wide, where the TRD wheels are only 7…….

It’s very solid. Both my Subarus have this same style OEM. I would have bought one of these for the Tundra years ago had I known it existed.
