6 months outside in Florida sounds pretty good to me.

Used tis stuff on 2 Toyota vehicles. Never got to the 200 wash or time frame the company stated the product last for despite cleaning everything as directed. Curious as to others who have used the product.

Their paint coating sucks. Their trim coat is great. The glass coat is shit. Their metal coatings are awesome

No but have a couple of acquaintances that I have seen, have no idea how long it’s been on there. Have talked to them at the auto store when we have been there in passing and they seem to like it.

I just use Bead Maker every time I wash my truck. And everything slides off of that!:) but I still think 6 months in the Florida weather is good?

I think all that stuff is overrated, Ceramic this and that.

I've used the cerakote trim restorer on plastics. Does very well and protects very closely to ceramic coatings on plastic.
I used solution finish recently on my step sides because they have an aggressive bed liner material finish. Practically painted them. Time will tell if I like it or not. As of now, not impressed with the solution finish. Although it does look great

I did my black plastics with this about a year ago. I'm just now starting to see fail points.Im in SW Missouri, and the truck lives outside. I recommend this product regularly and have given a few pouches away to friends.

For the cost, results and as easy as that stuff is to apply, I’d be happy with 6 months regardless. That’s said I used it on my 07 with faded plastics and at almost a year they still look new! Only took 1/4 packets in the box to coat everything, and that included oem the running boards, so still have a 3 year supply of the packets.

Still say 6 months in Florida in the elements would be a good deal. :)

First of all, six months is better than you’re going to get on any other trim products.
That said, I’m in Texas and have gotten way longer longevity than that. It fades, but it’s still there for a very long time.

Exhibit A: I put it on some nerf bars in July of 2020 and some water dripped on it from the mirror overnight. Over three years later it’s faded and needs to be redone, but that spot is still there. It’s why I tell people to be extremely careful with it.

Hells Bells!! I thought you were talking about the new ceramic coating they are making for vehicles. That stuff you used on the trim is just like the ceramic coatings as far as I am concerned.
When I go to the garage I’ll put a picture of the best stuff for black plastic trim as far as conditioner goes! This stuff leaves plastic looking like new and I have never had an issue. I especially like it as when I go past the dealer I do a drive by and see if he has a can handy that can find a pathway to the backseat of the Tundra!:)

this is the only stuff I use on plastic,,,,,

I really just use Solution Finish for really faded plastic to get the color back. It doesn’t last a real long time and doesn’t protect anything. It’s just for cosmetic uses. If I want to keep it from fading again I’ll put Cerakote on top of it after it’s cured. That helps it stay that way longer but still not forever. I don’t think the Cerakote bonds as well over SF.

I,dunno? My wife’s rav4 got this, stuff 2 years ago and it’s still fine. Outside year round, hot, cold, rain, sleet, snow, ice, dust, sand, all, that.

I do a synthetic spray wax, or ceramic spray as a drying aid when hand washing, and the auto car wash applies some type of graphine spray. This likely has some effect.

actually quite Impressed with this product

I was very pleased with the Cerakote Trim product (kudos to War Machine) so when I saw the TV ad for the Cerakote body product, I jumped all over it. I used it on my wife’s Lexus 350 and it is still holding up nicely after 6 months with regular maintenance washes. I’m no pro at this, but I found it reasonably easy to use and will not hesitate to use it again. I put it on a purple Toyota something that hadn’t been maintained at all after a pretty thorough cleaning and decon/polish and it has held up well for the kid driving it to college.
