I presently made a post regarding the biggest tire that would fit stock suspension with 18" wheel with +18 off set.

It came to the conclusion that 285/70R18 would be the biggest that would fit without rubbing at full articulation. The issue with that size is that it's not really a common size.

275/70R18 or 295/70R18 are much more common. I just realize that in the 285 the common size is 285/75R18.

Any tough on this? or should i stick with 275/70R18? I do go offload and need my suspension to work without rubbing.

yeah I came to that conclusion as well but I'm told that 285/70R18 would fit but it's not a standard size and I found the 285/75R18, but I have the feeling that will rub as well?

+18mm offset maybe a good start, but +25mm or even +35mm would be even better.

ok this is what i was wondering if the issue was the width or the height. because 295/70R18 is about the same diameter as 285/75R18 but 285 is less wide.

Would 285/75R18 look weird? should be find? but the ride quality. it's still a tire with more ruber on the side would this make it feel wably.

My winter tire are 275/75R18 at the moment. I'd like bigger summer tire but it would probably be smarter to stick with 275/70R18 so that i could get a matching spare and have 2 set of tire the same size.

understood, best to work with wheels you already have. just fyi the +25mm and +35mm offset would bring the wheel inward, not outward vs your +18mm.

ha sorry was sure that was going to put them outward. ha well moral of the story i have the +18. I use my stock wheel for winter with 275/70R18 and i find them boring a litel but they turn :)

So it's safe to asume that this does not work.

No one has experience doing this setup so far from what I can see.
