I drove it all over fuck trying to find some geese to shoot. Burned up a lot of gas, got a senior coffee from Mc'D's, and never saw a goose.

I've been in the habit of doing a drain/fill annually since I bought the truck. Made the most sense to me to do it at the very end of the tow season. I've done it for long enough now that the fluid came out really clean looking this year. I might drop to every other year now that is clean.

I also have an aftermarket aux trans cooler that has never let the fluid top 220 in the pan.

I feel ya,I put over 1,000 miles on in 12 days, most of which were towing at 9mpg. $600-something in gas.

Mine will take almost exactly 5 quarts too. I put in 5.25 and it bled off almost exactly .25 at temperature.

I have a vinyl tube that I run down from the engine bay to fill up the trans. I wasn't paying attention and some fluid trapped in the tube broke loose right into my hair. I didn't notice until I stood up and it dribbled down my face. Clean pink WS.

Mine has the 4.6L / A760H trans. That was a pan and filter drop. With the pan empty, I start it, rev to 3k and kill it. Another qt comes out. It only holds 12 w Tow package.

For other A760H owners, the fill plug is not in trans case, it's in the transfer case adapter plate on the left side.

Just changed the serpentine belt, tensioner and idler pulley and now the sqeakyness is gone. Word of advice, stay away from the Continental kit since the tensioner pulley makes it a bitch to get the belt on or your arm will look like this when done. The other hand doesn’t look any better.

To celebrate my newly repaired cruise control, I took a 120mi jaunt to my brother's to return his 16' trailer & deliver 40 bales of straw. At 278k miles, my truck just keeps performing. Best vehicle purchase of my life, bar none. This trip was made entirely through a downpour. Once arrived I knew 4wd would be a necessity to get the trailer where it needed to be. In the past my 4wd has been fickle at best. A lot of times I'd get the classic 4HI flashing with the ABS light & VCS light coming on. This time however, I'm just getting the 4HI flashing without the others. Strange.... I did replace the driver side front wheel bearing assembly recently but was careful not to disturb the ABS wiring/sensor so I believe the next course of action is diving into the actuator. Prayers appreciated...

p.s. We had to drop the trailer & hook my brothers' Silverado up to finish the job. That chaps my ass.

It's great. I had a couple of errands to run and it involved going through a couple of drive throughs. Hitting the button and letting the window put itself back up was much easier that having to hold the button as I pulled out into the parking lot.

One thing I have done to my tundra recently was installing a 2.5 Gen tailgate handle with back-up camera to update the looks. For anyone who has looked into this, note that our tailgate has a bend to it and the newer ones don’t. So to get around this I used a heat gun to slowly heat it and bent the new tailgate latch to conform to the bend. Just be careful and don’t over heat it. Took some patience but it turned out great! Next I have some black badges coming in to get rid of the chrome!IMG_0384.jpg IMG_0385.jpg IMG_0386.jpg

Other than having to conform the part to the shape of the tailgate, was it just plug and play? This looks like a good solution to my no longer watertight backup camera on my Tundra. Every time it rains, my camera is just uselessly blurry.

Awesome! I'm on my 3rd $7 replacement tailgate handle, seem to last about 2 years lol. I'll consider upgrading to something like this next time for a subtle OEM+ add on. Love it!

What’s the part number for that and is the camera plug and play if you already have a the backup camera?

The handle itself is plug and play however our camera is a bit different so I ordered one off of 1Aauto that’ll fit better. And if this OEM latch ever breaks the 1Aauto kit is a camera with a wire harness and their aftermarket latch lol a bit redundant for me to have this many latches but oh well, I wanted to make sure I had the correct camera that fits snug into the OEM tailgate latch. This is the link for the camera https://www.1aauto.com/toyota-tacom...ra-kit-trq-ada02077/i/1adhs01643/1067950/2016

Part number for the latch is 69090-0C091.
And as for the camera I just replied via my comment above this one.

Backed into a light pole's cement base that was in the middle of a parking spot. Tight parking lot. Was watching my side mirrors and not my rear view. I remembered it was there just as I hit it.

Dented the bumper and pushed the top up such that my tailgate was rubbing the plastic trim when I opened it.

I removed the trim from the top, put a block of wood on the top and hit it with a 5 lb hammer. Pushing the top down actually got most of the dent in the rear out. Just a small dimple now and the trim fits again.

I can live with it, but it's annoying that it even happened.

Been around on other platforms and finally found a real place for Tundra enthusiasts. I've been running the TVS1900 with an ASP overdrive crank pulley at 6.71 inches and a 2.345 SC pulley. I installed a @snivilous 2.2 pulley and tune to match a intake of 4.5 inches and new Denso 750 injectors. I'm running a walbro 450 at 14v constant.

    Runs great!

I noticed this morning my backup camera never came on (factory camera with screen in mirror), no screen no lines nothing. The compass display goes away but nothing displays after that. I cycled the truck into and out of reverse a few times with no change, might have to look into the wire harness connections found this in the search bar. Anyone else experience something like this?

Mine would give me a blue screen with the lines on it but now it is just plain blurry all the time. Something happened to the waterproofing on my camera and ever since it has just sucked.
