Any sap remover recommendations? I got a wad on there from my vacation and it’s not coming off easy

I would use a non abrasive MF towel with some warm water on it and let soak on it for a bit before trying to remove

I just order my first new set of crspotless filter cartridges

went with the cartridge exchange they offer so they will send my a new set of cartridges and I then send them these spent ones back

120 bucks shipped , not bad since they lasted a while, I may order bulk next time instead

Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
Nice set up op. I’m a fan of Chemical Guys products as well. I bought a generic foam cannon from ebay that does a great job with my power washer. Complete foam coverage with the CG soap. I also use their Hydro Slick Ceramic Coating Hyperwax and their Hydro Speed Spray Detailer.

I seem to have wound up with spider webs in the clear coat , I’m wondering if they didn’t use enough lube when they clay bar. I’ve never been through a car wash and have all brand new stuff so not sure something I did .
Anyway , only noticeable when it’s clean and sun hits it right

I’m guessing nothing I can do

also , so far I think I like the coating I put on the van better myself rather than the glass coat product they used . We’ll see how it turns out in the longer run

Is it already ceramic coated? If so, you’d have to use a good microfiber pad with maybe a one step polish, then re-prep, and add ceramic back.

I’ve never polished a paint job before , is this something I should have a shop do?

You can definitely paint correct yourself. It’s a lot of work if done right. If you’re going to do the entire truck, and want to break it into pieces, just do one side each weekend. You can make it 4 weekends long if needed.

did you just run the spotless without the filters to get your baseline ppm or did you buy a meter? I just bought a used Spotless and was figuring i'd get a baseline.

Thats not too bad. Maybe i'll grab one just to know.

How did that bulk resin end up working? My meter is showing 7 or 8ppm so the resin is toast.

just buy a meter such as below and test your tds from anywhere in the house , then you’ll know your base levels, mine are kinda high at 300-350

I'll be interested to see what it is at the tap. I found last years water report for the treatment station that feeds our neighborhood. Looks to be 79 for surface and 156 for groundwater (not sure what the difference really is, or how that differs from what comes out of the tap)

Looks like the resin you linked is OOS. I might just do the cartridge swap for my first one since i dont know what shape they're in.

I’ve done that plenty. Works great and easy, just more expensive in the long term.

So its $119 for the swap? The person i got it from said that they refund you money once you ship the old cartridges back.....or is 119 with the core exchange or less?
Cant really tell on the site.

Well i got my TDS meter in the mail, at our kitchen sink the tds is reading at 82
    PXL_20231202_235454968.jpg

I checked the water out of our refigerator that has a filter on it and it was at 69. I guess we've got decent water.
