The multimedia display is fine because it uses your phone's date and time settings. Use the steering wheel controls to navigate to the settings on the MID (dash display). That is on my SR5 with the non-digital dash, so I don't know if it will be different for your Limited.

The setting is in your radio/multimedia. Hit the settings (the gear symbol) then hit General, and you should see Date & Time pop up

You have a setting that turns DST on, off, or auto.
    Check that setting.

or just leave it on gps setting and it will automatically change based on time zone if moving across time zones (or for those areas that dont follow DST)

I finally had a tech @ Poway Toyota show me.

First you need to be totally disconnected from your phone via Bluetooth & not using Apple Play.

Then using the large screen update the time and it will send to the dash unit.

After updated reconnect to your phone & Apple Play & all is good.

Lot of complex DIY false info. Tap on the displayed time in upper right corner of the large console display. Choose: Set date & time by GPS. That is all there is to it. No tricks or complicated settings!

Definitely don’t need to disconnect from bluetooth or Apple Carplay/Android Auto either. If you’re in the carplay/android auto system, just tap the Toyota app on the apps screen. Then like thr post above me said, just tap the time on screen to get the time settings.

I have ‘22 Tundra Limited. I don’t see that I have an option for “set date & time by GPS” in my settings. My screen has correct time but not the instrument cluster. Any suggestions?

Settings > General > Date and Time > Select time zone/Daylight Savings/Set Time Automatically.

The correct time will display on the screen and gauge cluster.

That’s what I’ve selected since I bought new but the cluster didn’t go back to standard time Sat night/Sunday morning. The screen did but not the instrument cluster.

I'm a little confused by these settings. I have the same set up as @Matt2015Tundra has (except I'm eastern TZ) and I'm confused as to why the time didn't adjust for the change to Standard time. I ended up changing my setting to turn automatically adjust off, and fix the time myself. Not worth fighting it.

Both my screen and gauge cluster changed automatically, and show the correct time with the settings I posted.

Edit: Correction. I had to turn Daylight Savings Off to get the correct time on the screen and gauge cluster. Sorry, my bad.

My gauge cluster time did not change. I had to go into the settings and cycle the GPS option for it to update.

Same in my 2024, not a huge deal but was a bit shocked the radio and cluster are independent of each other

Which "settings" are you talking about? Like others have said, I don't see a GPS option on my '23 1794. I'm not running any of the connected services, though, so maybe that's the difference.

My truck changed automatically. I haven't touched my clocks since I rolled it off the lot.

I have a 2022 Tundra SR5 and had the dame issue with the cluster time not updating with the November time change while the big screen updated properly. The settings screen was a bit different from those described on earlier posts. I solved the issue by turning off the daylight savings selection. See photo below.

If you no longer have the connected services subscription, CaptainMidnight post is the only way to get the cluster clock to match the screen imo.

Thanks Skeeter Man. Right you are. I have chosen not to participate in subscription services. It is a shame that Toyota behaves in this manner towards customers.

I don’t have any connected services subscription and still have update time automatically. Did you opt out of all connected services?

Not correct. I've never subscribed, and my screen and gauge cluster clocks are in sync.

You said in post #13 you turned off DST, which makes them sync. In post #16 you stated you don’t have connected services. I don’t understand where you’re going with this.

Sorry, I misread your post to say that you needed the connected service for the clocks to match. My bad.
