What is everyone running for floor mats? I have run Husky for years but I’m looking at Tuxmat now as they look better and cover more for a lower cost.
Has anyone used Tuxmat or have an opinion?

WeatherTech fan myself. Better or worse than others is a matter of opinion.

I've used them with a few cars and have been satisfied enough to purchase them again.

Since you’re in Canada if you like Tuxmat, Costco has phantom mat, which is the same as Tuxmat for less money

I just bought husky x-act contour liners from truck part superstore (Canadian site) for a great price, over $100 off Check them out. Bfcm23 gets you additional 10% off.

I prefer the husky’s over the weathertech. I bought the weathertech HP liners for my 22 Tacoma, more rubber grip but still not as nice as the husky imo. Owned 6 or so sets of each over the years.

^ this. I have the phantom mats from Costco. You will not find a better fitting mat with as much coverage.

I can’t attest to the durability but I’d buy them again in a heartbeat.

thanks for this. Ive had the X-act Husky’s before and loved them. Best I have seen yet but was only looking at Tuxmat because they looked so good.

I've had weather tech before, bought Husky's this time, but a lot of folks here really like the Tuxmats. The Tuxmats do seem to have the best coverage.

I believe online, stocking every vehicle specific model would be a nightmare I would think

Lasfit. Happy with them so far. Very competitive pricing.
Had Weathertechs in my '08. Never liked them but was too cheap/lazy to replace in 15 years, so I guess they held up OK. Those were very stiff and got slippery when wet IMO.

Got the tux mats for the front ,, coverage is way better and seem easy to clean , also in Canada , ordered online ,, didn’t go with rears cause it appears they may block or partially block battery vents on the sides of seats

costco doesn't sell them in store. Online only. They said 3-4 week timeline but they arrived within 5 days.

they are rebranded tuxmats. My phantoms actually have Tuxmat tags on them.

Before provincial tax, I got my husky x-act front and rear for $203 Canadian. I thought that was an absolute steal.

$257.59 all in, delivered to my door for the phantom mats.

other than the unknown longevity, these are the best mats I’ve purchased. Ive used weathertech, or husky in the past. They are both slippery. The tuxmats are a different finish.

you can always take them back to Costco. They have a good return policy.

I had husky weather beaters in my 4Runner and they are more of a hard plastic and can be slippery. The x-acts are rubber and I’ve never found them slippery.

I almost went with the phantoms but was concerned with how they would look/clean after muddy boots/salt staining? Any feedback?

to be honest at this point I’ve only vacuumed them at the car wash (while still in vehicle). We are just starting out with winter so I have no idea how they will clean up.

I’ve watched some, you tube videos on cleaning them and they seem very easy to clean and there’s even a “one year after” video. They seem to be holding up well.

To the OP: Mine came with Toyota all weather matts in addition to the carpet ones here in Canada. Did yours not?

^ tuxmats are superior to the oem all weathers. Now if I was considering weather tec, I’d skip them and just use oem. They are as good as weathertec

All my Toyota trucks have come with both carpet and all weather liners but they don’t offer the coverage of husky/weathertech/Tuxmat etc. for the winter mainly is why I upgrade to something with better coverage.

Yes, I am not sure why the limited trim with the TRDOR package didn't come with the rubber liners but they don't. I went with the top of the line Weathertech's which give edge to edge coverage but are expensive.

    What are they made of?
Are they slippery in the winter?

hmmm, I kinda don’t know. They aren’t “plastic” like husky or weather tech. They aren’t carpet. They are some kind of in between carpet and plastic. They look nice.

they are not slippery in winter. Best mats I’ve owned.

I feel they were not a wast of money
