Gen 2 and 2.5 heads will explode if it's Gen 3 Tundras even if they aren't impacted. At a minimum, they'll enjoy knowing it could be a Tundra stop ship.
cardealershpguy is a decent but not perfect source.

I'm guessing 30% nothing happens on 11/29. 25% chance it's Super Duty's based on numerous quality issues. 30% Tundra for unresolved fuel line issue although I haven't seen any examples of the problem. 15% F150 based on the many problems they've got although everyone is used to it.

This is fun! Remember 1999, December 31 at 11:59 pm. The whole world was on edge to see what would happen when the computers hit 2000.

I think this will be better :)

Funny that you think it might be the gen 3 Tundras.
No one wants to see the next gen of the Tundra do well more than folks that have been diehard Toyota truck fans for the last 2 decades. It's bad enough that a lot of us were disappointed in the radical changes to the platform and many were simply sad to see an amazing platform killed off completely. But to have the new version come out of the gate with a laundry list of QC issues just made it that much worse. But that's on Toyota, not the people who bought the new Tundra. I kinda wish some of the 3rd Gen owners would stop taking it all so personally. It's childish and frankly, the whole 2nd gen vs 3rd gen thing is stupid and beyond old now. Actually, it's only really a "thing" among a small handful in here, but it's no less old and annoying.
I hope Toyota gets their shit together with the new Tundra. Toyota owners deserve better.

Agreed. I’d love to join in the ribbing of some fun old vs new things but it’s just sad how much butthurt is out there on both ends of the trolling.

I remember it very clearly. My finger was poised on the main breaker, ready for action. Since we lived in a remote area with no neighbours in sight, and definitely no cell service, my brother and I had the folks convinced that it had all shut down.

But whatever. We’d only been connected to the grid for just over 2 years at that point.

I remember. Stupid times. International Rectifier, a calibration client, required our laptops used onsite to be Y2K compliant whatever the hell that was. Not even sure they knew. We told them yes. Stupid times.

I heard a rumor it might be Ram. Evidently too many of their new trucks have gone 6+ months without a breakdown and Ram finally has a fix for the issue.

I was 10. My mom moved the clocks ahead so me and my 6 y/o little bro would still go to bed by 8pm.

A once every 1000 year event ruined for me by an arbitrary bed time. I found out about this treachery in my mid 20s. I still bring it up every New Year by reminding mom to move her clocks ahead so she can go to bed on time...
