I would like to hear from tall Crew Max owners.. How do these trucks compare for head room? I'm 6'3" tall and have normal dimensions of legs to torso. Do tall drivers have head room issues in the crew max trucks in the front seats? I would like to purchase a Limited or Platinum with the fully adjustable seats due to back issues and know that those seats will adjust down lower than a SR5 seat. Another thought I had to maximize head room is to find one of the Limited or Platinum trucks without a sunroof? Is this even an option? If it is those have to be a fairly rare truck as most folks are not as tall as us and therefore would want a sun roof.

Plenty of space and headroom with or without the sunroof for you at 6'3".

The 1784 Edition would also give you maximum comfort and upgraded amenities

I am 6'4" and love my 2018 Platinum. Plenty of head room and leg room. The furthest back position of the seat is actually too far back for the first time in my life.

Sup DB, I'm amazed at how much extra room I have in my crew max. I'm 6'1 but have so much more headspace and leg room especially in the back seat. It's crazy how spacious it is. I'd recommend you go test it out in person at your local CarMax or used car lot before pulling the trigger

I'm 6'5" and have plenty of room. Like @Silverleaf said, the furthest position back is a little more than I care for too.

thanks for the reassurance! I’ll definitely check it out before pulling the trigger. I have been nerding out in interior dimensions specs and was fairly certain it would be tall enough but like I said to the other member, I’m not really used to having a lot of vehicles have large enough dimensions that I have to actually scoot the seat forward. Most of the time I push the seat all the way back and I’m still wanting more.

I'm the same way, plus I'm a thick guy so I got a gut on me. Driving in compact cars would be an issue for me but not with this Tundra. The day I bought mine about a week ago was the first time in several years that I've actually ridden as a passenger completely comfortable. Also one thing I found out days after buying my truck is that the steering wheel isn't only adjustable up and down but it's telescopic meaning you can pull it in and out. I think that is pretty awesome. Also the driver's seat can adjust height(rise/lower) with the horizontal lever. Those features blew my mind. I'm coming from a '02 Tacoma so all these features to me are like the wheel was just invented, LoL.

    6'7" here, pretty proportionate legs/torso.
I've always stayed away from trucks with a sunroof, they tend to lose at least an inch. My seat is maxed out for legroom, but that almost makes my steering wheel too far away. Plenty of headroom, and I almost always have a hat on.
    You'll fit great.

I am 6’5” and 280lbs with probably a longer torso than leg length and I have no issues with a 2016 limited crewmax with sunroof. I have my seat about an inch forward of all the way back. Don’t know about the third gens, I believe they are a little smaller inside than the 2.5 gens.

I am 6’5”. My SR5 was comfortable and had good headroom. I think that the seat is too high but not unlivable.
My Pro has the sunroof and I wish that it didn’t. My head is always just rubbing on the ceiling. I really can’t wear a hat.
Love the truck and am looking as lowering the seat by about an inch.
At 6’3” you should be fine

I'm 6' and I had my dad (6'2"), my brother-in-law (6'4") and his two cousins at 6'7" and 6'9" all in the truck at once. The 6'9" cousin was sitting in the back and had plenty of room. Mine is a Limited with the sunroof.

I'm 6'5" but more torso than legs. 32" inseam on jeans. For me I went SR5 because the sunroof in the limited ate up too much head space. My head was nearly touching the roof, it's one of the reasons i traded my 4Runner in on my tundra. Best suggestion is to see if you can sit in both and then decide for yourself.

Im located just south of Portland Oregon so fairly close to a metropolitan area

I did sit in an SR5 and it seemed to be ok with head room. I need to find a higher trim level to get the power seats for driver and passenger however.

My SR5 has SR5 upgrade and TRD off road premium packages. I have power driver seat, push button start, and automatic dual zone climate control. unfortunately the passenger seat is manual. Good luck with your search

My dad was 5'5" (but one of those you did not mess with - his bench press in high school was something crazy like 480# or so) and mom was 5'6". I'm 5'10" and my son, who is 15, is 6'. LOL

I'll add to the consensus. 6'5" with longer torso. I have a Limited without a sunroof and I not only have 3-4 fingers of space above my head but this is the first vehicle I actually don't have the seat all the way back or down. It's awesome! I personally love not having a moonroof because I rarely used them in other cars, but I imagine even with one, I would still feel comfortable and like I can sit up straight.

One thing I will be considering in the future though are Seat Jackers, little spacers to lift the front of the seat and give a little more support to my legs. The Limited doesn't have an adjustable bolster but I think some of the higher trims do.

6'2" longer legs than upper torso, SR5 no sunroof and I love this thing.
The only time I hit that ceiling was when I hit a sandy bump and basically nose-dive into it, but that was more me than the truck space inside. My youngest can stand up inside while my oldest (a tad over 4') is somewhat, hitting the roof.
