Can you add weather to the radio?

Hey guys, I had a 2015 Tacoma that I replaced with my 2021 Tundra. I didn’t realize how much I used my weather app until I got the Tundra…. I used to be able to click apps and then select weather and see what the weather forecast was for the day plus the upcoming three days. I’m seeing “apps” on my 2021 Tundra but I don’t see a weather one. There’s only like 2 apps.

Is it possible to get a weather app on the stock headunit like I had on my Tacoma?

 

Not sure if the head units are the same on all models, but the head unit on mine (JBL system) has a weather widget.

 

You could use carplay or android auto to display weather. I know that's not the answer your looking for but somewhat of a solution. My 2020 Tundra DC Sport that I use to own didn't have the weather app on the OE headunit either.

 

Yea I think I’m trying to find out how to add that widget

 

Oh I didn’t know I could do that…I’ve never had CarPlay before. I’ll do some searching on that. Thanks!

I found it!! The same weather app from the tacos is on the tundras. It’s just in a weird spot. You need to hit Menu, then Info, then Weather.
