Looks great! I agree, don't get rid of them. Best wheels out there for our Tundra's.

I'd love a set on my '12. Way too overpriced secondary market for them. $1,000+ for 10 year old wheels.

Yeah, it's nuts right now. All we can do is hope things settle down in the near future, but I doubt it...

If it wasn't nuts I'd have my full size spare on a RW wheel.

Recently, I was able to snag a great set of RW wheels with center caps in excellent condition. My truck came with faded and peeled center caps. So, I sold 3 of the 4 wheels. Kept one wheel for a full-size spare and the center caps. I carefully cleaned the center caps and applied wax to keep them in good shape moving forward. I think every so often, I will maintain these center caps with some type of protective coating. I would hate for these to fade as they are the original center caps that were manufactured, and no one makes these center caps anymore. There was an updated center cap made but they did not come with a similar finish as the originals.

I did not re-apply Loctite nor Anti-seize. Just threaded them back in and tightened them down to snug with a small 3/8 ratchet. Eventually, I want to go back through and run a tap through each hole to clean the threads & apply some anti-seize. Then, check each bolt once or twice a year to ensure they are snug. Snug not over tightened. Just my theory and approach

I've been running non oem black lugs for about a year and a half or so with Bora spacers and they've been great. No issues.

    @freedom123

I did use blue loctite on my bead lock rings after I painted them. I also recently started using non oem lugs. I go through and check torque every other fill up. Everything is fine after a few thousand miles so far. And a few hundred of those miles have been Forrest service roads.

I have never taken the beadlocks off of my wheels I don't see any sense in it you can change the tires just fine with them on there I thought about it once and one of the bolts started to strip out and then I just left them alone I don't know if they're actually meant to be removed or not

Yeah, when I was in the process of rehabbing my set, I tried to take the rings off and a bunch of the bolts were seized even after soaking them in pb blaster for a week and heating them with a torch. I eventually gave up and left them in place.

So sad today I hit a baby fawn deer today n it didn’t damage the body or sheet metal on my truck but it bust up the plastic fog light housing, n inner splash guard. Anybody got any ideas on a winch bumper? What’s a good winch full wrap bumper? Ideas???

So many to choose from. You can check this thread:
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/2nd-gen-front-offroad-bumper-options.8195/

I don't have one yet so my opinion isn't based on a direct review. However, when I do upgrade, I'm going to get this one. I don't wheel and the off-road my rig sees is usually Forrest service roads to trailhead and river put in/take out ramps. The reason I want one (a big ass winch bumper) is based on the elk and deer activity I see on roadways as well as the ability to have a winch in the winter when roads can be pretty nasty. Plus it looks super badass in the grocery store lot. He's also a member here. @BashFab

    https://www.bashfabrication.com/shop/p/07-13-tundra-hybrid-front-bumper

Edit: currently I only have a brush guard and I know it's not enough protection for a big hit though.

My vote is for the costal offroad DIY kit because aluminum but people who have winches never really care bout weight.

Did you have them powder coated after filling the holes? If so, what color? Looks great!

Painted… primer used was an acid etch, base color is Nissan paint code K11, top clear is an egg shell finish.

The 110mm center bore was also machined straight through. This allows old school center caps or use on full floating hubs.

The color looks very similar to Toyota's magnetic gray metallic 1G3. Any reason you went with that or is that what you had on hand? I may do something similar in the future.

The K11 Smoke Metallic is a bit murkier than 1G3…. A little darker and leans towards a brown gray. Looks great on black vehicles.

Ran them for years on the wife’s Land Cruiser w/ 34/10.5R17 KO2. They are moving to my Tundra for the upcoming season. 315/70R17 Nokian LT3 studded…. Pics asap.

If you're looking for quality LED headlights for your Tundra, look at Morimoto XB headlights. They are a complete replacement headlight, not replacement bulbs. They are spendy but very much worth the money.
