So, are you talking about doing the part forward of the shifter (I believe that's where you've hidden your wireless BT)??

Anyone got suggestions for a good 1 piece lug nut to replace the junky 2 piece. Been struggling to find a good option

No - I’m trying to refine the 3-switch black that goes behind the shifter.
I think I’ve about got it.

This is raw off the printer except for chasing the holes in the underside with a tap. No sanding, no priming, no paint. I might hit it with a light coat of matte clear just to knock down a little of the shine, but otherwise good to go.

I tweaked the overall size just a touch to fill the space since there’s no build-up of primer and paint on it, and I’m using more common 6-32 screws to hold it from underneath.IMG_0621.jpg

now I just need to dial in a printed cut/drill template.

That's looking good... I have one of those from Abomb w/concealed screws also, but I need to track down something to use to fill in the space forward of the shifter and conceal the wireless carplay adapter. If I remember correctly, I think you did something with yours similar to what I was thinking of doing...

Saw a new 150 Tremor at the local Ford dealer yesterday, so I had to pull in for a quick comparison :muscleflexing:

Ok, I may have used the camera angle a bit to my advantage, but hey... A guy's gotta do what I guy's gotta do :D

I used the Scosche wireless charger setup but then customized it to hold an Apple magsafe charger.

Damn I ordered a grill and hood bulge from sparks and was informed that the hood bulge is on a worldwide back order. Checked a different source and was told the same thing. They said March at the soonest.

Seriously. LOL. We have a vaulted ceiling in our front room where the tree goes, so we have room for a tall tree. Over the years we have made the mistake of getting a tree that wasn't necessarily too tall but to big around. One year it took up almost the whole room. We laughed every time we walked through the room because it was so ridiculous.

For a temp solution. You can use the hyper dip that is basically MGM. Use it on your chrome bulge until the painted one arrives. Might not be perfect, but will be a lot better than chrome.

FINALLY installed a damned remote start. Only been 3 years;). Used the Amazon.com: Start-X Remote Starter For Toyota Tundra 2018-2021 | Plug N Play | Lock 3 Times to Remote Start | ZERO WIRE SPLICING! : Automotive
Installation was pretty easy. Even I was amazed how the underdash of these trucks isn't a rat's nest of cabling- wires, modules....etc .
Install took all of 1 hour on a rainy Saturday morning.
So far very pleased with this nice upgrade for winter.

Received the colorlugs I ordered on Black Friday.
For anyone who has installed these, did you prep them or the lug nuts at all?
How have they been holding up for you?

Um... no prep just popped them on. Now and then I put them in soapy water when I get a tire rotation and they get removed. Holding up great, I've scratched the sides trying to remove them but they are thick and it will take a long time before I'm concerned of them failing.
I think I've had them roughly 3 years and the truck is always outside.

I had the same issue when I ordered mine. I ended up ordering one paint matched on ebay for $104. Its holding up fine so far. I did put PPF film on it after a month or so and I did replace the push pins on the back of it before installing it.

    bye

You do you, but the fords out here are worlds worse and their customer service is a joke. My neighbors were Ford fan boys and then they saw how much better everything went for me with Toyota and have switched. Every vehicle can/will have issues but its all about a company resolving it. But again, you do what you need to be happy with your vehicle. Shit costs too much to not enjoy it daily.
