I have the 2022 SR5 TRD OF with the 8 inch media screen. Could I get a larger factory screen put into truck. Would it be an entire dash board change? The small screen is only flaw.

With all the harnesses and information going to the headunits, I highly doubt you can simply swap to the larger unit without changing the dash, wiring harnesses, etc

I like the 8" display and purposely got a truck with this head unit. The 14" display looks out of place and does not blend with the dashboard as well as the smaller (although still quite large) head unit. I suppose if you're half blind and need giant icons then the 14" is the display for you! ;-)

If you're curious about doing this, this guy (I feel like he's a forum member?) did a great video on the swap. He walks through pretty much everything you need to know about making this upgrade.

22+ Tundra 8” screen to 14” screen swap Install Instructions (youtube.com)

TBH...about every month or so, I think about doing this upgrade. Especially as more Non-JBL head units become available. I just don't know how I feel about the whole "blacklisting" issue. Outside of losing remote start, I'm not entirely sure what other impacts that has. I assume it kills the satellite radio ability and all app functionality like vehicle tracking, mileage, and gas level? People dog on SXM, but I still like it. At $8 a month, I don't mind paying for it.

Thanks for the information. Seems like more trouble than it's worth. I'll do with the 8 inch.
