In my considering selling the Tundra, possibly buying one came up.

I had a black/silver Talon TSi AWD in high school. Car was a pile but a blast to drive.

Ugh. I had a white '90 or '91 Mirage sedan. That thing was a pile. Slow, ugly, and ... I'd forgotten about that POS until you said something.

It was one of a few cars I rotated through pretty quickly in my late teen/early adult years. And this is the car I was trying to remember a while back. I had a killer sound system in it. I started workign on the interior before totaling the stupid thing. Redid the doors in velour, lowrider tuck-and-fold fashion for the upper stickout portion of the door card, and button pillow or biscuit or whatever you call that style on the flats. It was pretty sweet. Looked and sounded great on the inside. Drove like ass. Looked like ass.

Bringing it back to thread topic.

I had the truck Wool Waxed this year. I found some spots the guy missed. Ordered in a 6 pack of PB Blaster's new undercoating that has good reviews. I used up a can on the truck only because partial cans of Fluid Film never seem to work.

The PB Plaster stuff sprayed out well, seems to adhere & coat as could be desired. First impressions - good stuff. Can lasted longer than expected.

(my mechanic must HATE working on my truck. LOL)

PB Surface Shield or something else? I tried it; only difference is it doesn't smell like Fluid Film does to me. Still drips off the frame similarly.

Late to the party, sorry bud. It works unbelievably well. Drill the left higher by about half and inch or so, than what the template calls for. Mine gives a softer open as well. If I had the truck, I would measure it for you. I just eyeballed it and went higher.

Dude. I had one of those. White with blue interior. Autotragic. Probably the slowest car I've ever driven.

Same! Dark blue vinyl interior. I think i remember the dash was peeling just above the center vent in that thing.

I wish I had pics of the interior. It turned out really f’n nice.

Well, I finally did something to my truck. I decided to try upgrading the horns on my truck and bought the Hella supertones. I also managed to find a nice connector kit that doesn't involve cutting or changing the factory wiring and connectors.

Feeling a little exposed, but in a good way. They're a little high-pitched, but they get the message across.

Ordered all LED for my interior. I was looking for all incandescent, but that's almost impossible. I figure LED will help with my amp draw too, which I can use all the amps I can save.

It's OK to do, as long as you install a halogen bulb for the LED.
