    Hey All,

I have an 80 Series Land Cruiser that I'm installing 2001 Tundra sun visors in, and I need to paint the plastic visor clips to match. I actually have the Tundra visor clips already, but through an eBay snafu I ended up with one gray and one tan. Anyone have a good suggestion for an easy to find spray paint that matches the gray plastic sun visor clip (the one that attaches to the ceiling/headliner near the rear view mirror with a single screw)?

    Thanks in advance.

Doubt they'll be a match but your best options are SEM Vinyl paint or Duplicolor Vinyl paint as these won't peel or scratch as easily as regular paint.

Okay, great idea. Any suggestions on color code/name for a close match?

There are charts you can find online for that. Can you get the interior color code off the sticker from the donor vehicle?

Interior colors (and their codes) had a tendency to change slightly across the years. There is a section in the 1st gen forum 'sticky' thread area that's full of brochures, and you may find the interior color codes in there for each year. It's also on the door label, IIRC.

Once you get the interior color code, you should be able to talk to someone at SEM, or find a x-ref online that will point you in the right direction.

But honestly, for the cost of a can of paint, you should be able to buy the correct part, if not get it new from Toyota using the parts system. You can find the part number here. The last two digits of the part number typically pertains to the color code.

(Be forewarned though, Toyota has discontinued a lot of colors in favor of tan/fawn, so even if you buy an alternate color, you may get tan/fawn)
