When you say "new one" are you referring to the aftermarket wheel and the comparison is to a standard leather Taco wheel?

For those of you that have replaced your steering wheel, how hard was it, did you have use a steering wheel puller? My biggest worry about the whole mod is having the clock spring get unsprung during removal of the old wheel. Also do getting it lined up and with the alignment or did you have to get the truck realigned? Trying to do as much research on removing and installing before the wheel arrives. Any advice, tips or suggestions are welcomed. Thanks!

No puller needed, it took 15 mins and lined up perfectly. You shouldn't have to get it aligned after. Super easy install.

Just installed mine this afternoon. Take your time, it’s an easy mod. Didn’t need a puller. I left the steering wheel nut on a couple threads when pulling the old steering wheel to avoid it breaking loose and hitting me in the face. Looks and feel are great. Hopefully it holds up for years to come.

mine arrives today... i had looked at them on ebay, this thread sealed the deal.

I'm replacing an SR5 plastic wheel. Are you guys replacing your factory leather wrapped wheels with this one?

Most folks are replacing the plastic wheel. I've heard the Revesol is better quality and lasts longer then the Tundra wheel, but I have no personal experience.

Installed tonight, about 20 minutes plus a test drive to make sure it's on straight, had to make 1 adjustment and was good to go. 10/10 recommend.

Edit: wouldn't have considered without the removal of the colored accents.

Had to pull the wheel off and rotate it one notch so my steering wheel was aligned correctly when I was driving straight. Small whoopsie on my part.

Gonna install mine today... Looks great. Only option i would have asked for is without any stripe on top, but i can live with the black stripe. Quality appears very good.

Helps me remember left and right hand placement on the wheel. Jokes aside, maybe it's a standard design thing and helps keep the top leather secured for longevity?

Yeah, I honestly thought that was what they were going to do. They are based in a non English speaking country so there was definitely some info lost in translation  I'm just thrilled we got them to offer an all black leather wheel and that folks are buying it.

They do, and if you email them they tend to respond in a week and should be able to provide a timeline. The inventory seems to be based on when they physically have a shipment, so if they are out of stock its not because its discontinued just more they are waiting for their next batch to arrive. At least, that is what I've learned from all my discussions with them.

They are local in Fullerton where they ship from. I wish they had an option for red stitching in the all black leather wheel, but I love mine!

They have great customer service. I found a flaw in my steering wheel. I emailed them at night and they emailed me a return label the next morning.
