    Finally got the wheels/tires installed.

295/70r18, stock TRD pro suspension. Method 316 18x9 +18. Had to move the bumper forward about an inch, and still have the slightest rubbing at full lock in reverse.

Will get some better pics a little later. Looking to install the RSB and dashcam today.

Dropped it off for the headlight harness recall and to have the flex fuel hard start TSB performed. Shop called me back a few hours later stating they confirmed the codes and fuel values so they approved the TSB work. Oh and discovered both cam tower seals have small leaks, and both rear shocks have small leaks. No wonder I noticed lately it’s starting to get squishy and loose in the rear. Sometimes those extended warranties pay for themselves. Over $3k worth of work for a cool $100 deductible. Now I’m cruising around in a brand new fully loaded hybrid Sienna minivan until they’re finished. Things rides great but it isn’t for me.

Indeed is good to have extended warranty. It pays of in situations like this

Agreed. I hated to buy it but it was too good of a deal. It was a bumper to bumper lifetime regardless of mileage. It literally just paid for itself with this one use. Maybe I’ll get another 6 years before needing it again.

Did they send pics of the cam towers? Seemed like post 2016 were doing a lot better…

No I didn’t ask. When I dropped it off I saw them looking under the hood and mentioned a small oil leak on the engine. Another tech told them to check the cam towers so they were aware it’s a known issue.

oh and about to hit 80k miles. It is a tow vehicle.

Picked up my 46 Gallon fuel tank from Transfer Flow yesterday and had it installed today. Local shop only charged me 3 hours of labor.... that was deal in itself.
I had about 3/8 of a tank on the old 26 gallon when I dropped it off. They got most of it into the new tank. After paying my tab, I was off to the gas station for my first fill up with the Big Bertha gas tank. The low fuel light came on about 3 miles from the gas station and I'm glad it did. I took 36.899 gallons to top it off and I probably forced the .899 into the tank to get to an even dollar amount. So basically, I'll have 10 gallons left when the light comes on. Dealing with Transfer Flow was GREAT! They had the tank in stock at their warehouse in Tennessee so it would arrive at my local terminal the day after it shipped. The bad news, I ordered it last Wednesday and the weather/snow pretty much had Cookeville, TN closed. FedEx picked it up Monday and had it ready for me to pick up on Tuesday. I opted to pick it up and save the local delivery and liftgate charge. I am looking forward to my first long haul towing my Jeep. I'm thinking/hoping for a 350 mile range before I really need to start looking for gas with the Jeep in tow. It should be well over 500 miles between fill ups without.

Installed my 2nd XCover tonneau cover. Had the first one for roughly a year and it had slight leaks in the corners. Out of nowhere it started to leak pretty bad along the bed rails. Sent them some pics and they sent out a warranty replacement a few days later. Added some Butyl tape during the install to hopefully aid in keeping the bed dry, but I will say it looked like they changed the design to hopefully improve keeping water out. The rear wheel hub assembly leaked last year. Some critter the week before Christmas ate a wiring harness. Nothing with the motor or transmission. Knock on wood, but she's only ever seen the inside a shop for mostly tire's and oil changes. She's been a great truck. I hope to get 800,000 more miles out of her.. lol

My battery died a couple years ago, in the middle of nowhere unexpectedly and I didn't have a Noco. While I was waiting for help, I ordered a Noco.

you'll like it. We own 3 (1 in my Tundra, 1 in my wifes TrailBoss and 1 in our boat), small enough they store nicely under the rear seats.
