Installed '19 TRD Pro LEDs on my '15 via iHackers (dimming) harness. Worth every penny and angst ridden moment as I ripped the dash apart to hear the snarky comments from my wife that 'That's quite a mess you've got there; I hope it works'.

Well it DOES work, AND LOOKS BAD ASS!

On a related note, does anyone have a guess as to what this toggle switch may be?

Aftermarket trailer brake control was stuffed under the dash. Possibly related? I didn't install it.

My son got these for me when he was getting some for bulbs for his Rav4.

    so far so good.

taking off the grill to change bulbs is silly, but goes pretty quick once you know where all the clips are.

Took a trip through East Tennessee today with kayaks sticking out of the bed. I never use cruise control because it’s less efficient than not using it. But today I tried it again and realized once again why I don’t use it.

Here are some data points in case you’re a nerd like me.

    • 68 mph
    • @ 1600 rpm
    • 6 mph headwind

On grades I either stayed locked up in 6th or went to 5th unlocked.
Highest engine RPM I saw on steep grades was 2k.
Transmission pan stayed at 193ºF. (I did add a cooler.)
TC went up to 210ºF on long grades.

Overall 15.8 mpg. Not great, but not terrible for heavy tires and carrying a bunch of extra weight into a headwind.

But for reference, my best is just over 19 mpg @ 62 mph with the same setup not using cruise.

Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

Best I ever got from Knoxville to Charlotte was 17.5 hauling nothing. I only hand calculate, so I'm sure some better, some worse along that stretch.

The black box to the right looks like an after market alarm or remote start so that might be the valet switch I believe.

Start-X remote start installed. Few days too late for the extreme cold, but well worth it! Compared to the Alpine HU, install was a piece of cake. The remote's range is much farther than I expected too.

I've added cameras to my tow mirrors, front and rear. These cameras came with a trigger cable to turn them on when the directional signal is on.

$210 on Amazon. The cameras are great. the display is so-so. basic IOS. simple settings, nothing fancy. I pull a 33ft trailer that's why I installed them. : /

Chrome deleted the front end, with a new grill and bulge and bumper ends. I like this look a million times more than the chrome.

That is like right up my alley. Would love to hear more on how you did it. I keep kicking around ideas with vinyl but hadn't thought about center caps.

That's going to make you smile every time you walk up to the truck :D

Typically finding one of these would mean you had an extremely bad day. Lucky for me it was an old one from when I had longer studs installed that must’ve gotten wedged between the rotor and dust plate during removal and gone unnoticed. 1000+ miles and almost a month later it must’ve became “unstuck” and made a hell of a grinding noise. The truck did work this weekend... I had to move my new camper back to the dealer for some work... lame... then I picked up my new dump trailer, filled it with my storage unite moved it 200+ miles, emptied it, picked up appliances, dropped it and rotated some other things.. then, she made the safe trip to get the special lady some coffee and breakfast. I really appreciated the reliability this weekend. Rolled 105k and hasnt skipped a beat.

I need to do that to my truck. That goes on the right side of the tailgate right? What size is that or part number? Got it at Home Depot? Appreciate the guidance Sir.

    Thanks Sir.

But anyone with a screwdriver can take it off right? Is not much of a deterrent?

If they can drop the tailgate then yes. Otherwise, just orient the way it was shown in that picture and when the tailgate is closed, the part you use the screwdriver on is pointing straight up and is inaccessible.

ok I am slow this morning, no coffee here yet. So yes the tail gate is shut, but they open it and flip it down and boom access with a screwdriver.
So unless the tailgate is locked this device is useless? Or they can still jack the tailgate even when is locked? I am slow and confused now :) My apology gents
