What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Since your in AZ, @azTony posted some while back the long box for a really good deal. I seriously considered driving out there from So Cal just to get it from him. Maybe worth checking to see if he still has it.

I just wanted to circle back and close the loop on this. The part in the picture (with the red arrows pointing at it) is called a water bypass pipe. The OEM Part# is 16206-0S030. Apparently it fits all 2007-2021 Tundra 5.7L. I also picked up 4 new hose clamps; the clamp OEM Part# is 96136-42501.

Back in 2022, "Antihero" had an issue with excessive corrosion on his water bypass pipes in his 2011 Tundra (sprung a leak) and posted on this forum: LINK

Finally gave her the first good bath after the snow... I really need to CC the truck.

 

I have the steel box that goes all the way across the floor and has locking lids. Good luck with the simple cubbies, should be easy.

 

Brought some salt blocks out for the deer and replaced batteries in trail cam, I try to keep them salted up year round

 

Those painted red tow hooks really stand out! Did you paint them, or found red ones already painted?

Wheels and tires are on and it’s aligned. Love it! Had to trim the skid plate on the passenger side and take off the mud flaps.

After 5 years I finally got a full detail. Wax, polish and ceramic coating. If you're on the fence about getting a full detail I suggest you really consider it. Truck looks brand new again. Also, doing this increased my MPG's....just kidding...I still get 12mpg.

 

What!!? Your detail only kept you at 12mpg? You must be using the wrong ceramic coating..

Looks NICE. How much the entire thing run you? Give or take? I am considering it.

 

Ceramic is expensive and usually only done when the vehicle is fairly new. Due to paint correction, most shops here won't even touch it on 5 year old paint. A few of the shops here tell customers that ceramic isn't worth the cost if you wash and wax quite often.

What exhaust is that? Trying to figure out the best option. Someone recommend corsa to me, but that seems to have some drone reviews
