I'm considering this rack, can you confirm it does not affect the opening of panoramic sunroof?

I run my fridge full time off just the starter battery. In the summer the solar helps top off the fridge as it runs more often in the heat whereas my heater only runs when I use it for sleeping in the winter. And in the winter the fridge cycles a lot less, but I’ve had great success with just one beefy battery and my Dometic 75

Full time like 24/7 in the truck pulling power?

They don’t pull power non stop. They cycle on and off to maintain temp.

Yeah I get that part, but didn't know if he just kept his plugged in all the time. I have a EcoFlow Glacier but it lives in the house and goes to the truck for trips. But I don't have a bed cover so I'd be reluctant to leave on abed slide exposed 24/7

I used to run mine off a 100ah lithium battery in my van and on my Tacoma 24/7 but they were fed with like 300w of solar.
I was mostly curious if the 80w hood panel was worth it.

As I'm sure I stand in a small group on this matter. I do not like the phone charging pads in the newer vehicles. I find them to be slow and more of a eye sore. I spent some time thinking about what I could make to cover this section. After a few renderings I took a TrailHunter patch I picked up at the overland expo last year and some thick black leather and began my project embedded the patch into the leather. Using a previous rendering I had made as my stencil I think my final product turned out pretty good. Not for everyone, but maybe an idea for someone else out there wanting a similar result.

Nice job. Could you provide a link to which tailgate seal you bought and more pictures showing more of the top end? Thx

Ok I’ll snap more pics tomorrow. This video was helpful. Mine is slightly different than the video, they just cut the side in 2 sections. I cut a notch to go around the bumper.

I like it, but think it could use some stitching to accentuate it more.

I am the person who asked originally there...I ended up going the Prinsu route and am happy with my decision. Initially I wanted only a non-drill option because I didn't want to personally drill and couldn't find a shop I trusted enough to do it.

Very helpful. Thank you very much! I’ve used similar material on other trucks and it was always trial and error. Good to see how you installed it.

I finally got my $168 Heritage Grill from Lewis Toyota. Brad the parts manager over there got me all fixed up after the usps mishap.

Now I need to figure out what light bar to go with and grab some marker lights.

I'd love to use the TRD Pro Light Bar switch if possible, but it looks like Diode Dynamics says theirs won't work with the factory switch.

FWIW, I used this switch with the DD light bar, and it works well.

I was hoping to use the factory TRD Pro Light Switch, but if this one fits in the blank switch spot left of the steering wheel that's fine too.

Google your search and the Rave company one worked perfect for me and matches blue lighting. The company does have a negative history with fellow members. But my switch has been working fine.

You can see what efforts need to be completed to make the OEM switch work. But yes, it does fit those slots.
