Altima and its CVT can kick rocks. Not a bad looking car though

I haven't noticed any wonky transmission behavior. I think it's just nice driving something other than my slow ass truck. The Altima is fairly quick for a sedan.

Something feels dirty about those pictures of that Individual Throttle Body kit.... not sure if its that scuffed up gold leaf on the firewall, or the fucking hacked out core support.

My coolant leak just ended up being a 21 year old hose clamp that left the chat.

Unless you want to change or enhance one of them yes, the lenses in the cluster are all colored. For my 2000 anyway.
Plus you probably want white t5 for the backlighting anyway.

Those warm up/defrost mornings cost money... but worth not scraping and being safer.
Oddy off, I do that about 50% of the time. Sure seems like that makes It hold gears longer, and maybe ECM slightly enhances performance on top if just locking you out of 4th?
    20240221_054759.jpg
My super duty Ferd 6.2 @ work def holds gears longer. Which makes sense "tow mode". Sometimes when I step on the gas in that ford... it just makes a little more noise, no responce otherwise, p.o.s.

I can vouche for the radiator, I just put it in. Exact lower hose quite a while ago, no problems.

It's a good time to do your serp belt, belt tensioner and idler pulley if you haven't already. Also, Rock Auto sells Aisin coolant which I think is more affordable than buying it elsewhere.

Oh and don't forget a thermometer gasket.

I won't be paid in time for this sale, otherwise I'd partake. I missed the last big Toyota parts sale too. Ugh. I want to rebuild my front end this year. I hope another big sales along sooner than later. Especially with them starting to discontinue parts

The sequence is something like tighten to 59ftlb in a pattern, then tighten another 90°, then another 60°. Except for the inboard forward drivers side bolt. It finishes with only 40°. Who comes up with this stuff.

The Altima gets some hate but I've put 30k on my 2019 in the last 2 years and haven't had anything outside of normal maintenance to do. Transmission is still fine and it's going in a couple weeks to have the fluid changed so we'll see what comes out.

My buddies 2016 took a crap at 76k miles and he had to fork out $3800 for the trans replacement.

I feel for you all, I've only worked on a few used cars at a dealership we bought from up north. Mostly rust on the bolts, nothing like that tundra. The passenger side frame on that truck literally snapped at the welds, mind blowing to me.

Is Continental Elite the serpentine belt that used to be the Gatorback belt or does anyone have anything horrible to say about it? (Puck excluded).
