Installed RT Trails today on stock suspension 2021 TRD Pro. Dealership removed front mudflaps for rubbing. Ride is amazing and quite. I spent a lot of time reading threads on tires size for this truck. Super happy with the results.

I'm running the same tire in that size, had a pretty hairy moment on wet asphalt that has me questioning these tires.

I was a little concerned with limited siping compared to AT3. I have not tested them out on wet but will do soon.

I’m debating this size or 285/75R18 for my TRD Pro. These don’t rub on your sway bar?

Your trucks looks amazing with them. I love the lunar rock color, it’s probably my favorite one overall.

Have Toyo AT3 on our 4runner, awesome tire especially on wet and winter roads.

Within the first week I spun and teac control kicked in leaving a convenient store at normal throttle input in the rain. For reference I live in the Arkansas Ozark Mountains so pretty hilly and curvy. Within the first month on a road trip 60mph highway, car in front of me running about 50mph, passing lane on my side of the uphill road (2 lanes south bound 1 lane north bound) opens up so I step out to pass and ass end of truck steps out with Trac control kicking in and I let off, ass end kicks to the other side, cars going by in the north bound lane and I'm almost in it, car behind me had to check up because I had to. I'm running 38# in these. I had two sets of Trail Grapplers on this truck before getting these RT Trail and never had a slip on wet roads even when they were 75% worn. I ran a set of Ridge Grapplers on my 2017 Tundra and they put me in a hairy situation once when they were 50% worn, came in a little hot on a steep curvy downhill section and white knuckled my way down so I'm starting to think the hybrid tires are not a good choice for wet conditions. The Trail Grapplers were the best tires I've ever ran, except Michelin Ltx M/S on another vehicle, but only getting 35-40k miles from a set and really don't have a need for a MT I decided to try these Toyos out since we like the Toyo AT3 on our 4runner

They do touch the sway bar at full-full lock. I wanted the 285 75 18 I was just really concerned about 35" diameter. I talked with others that had that size in Ridge Grappler and had to do quite a few mods to not rub.

Do you have any rub issues or mods you needed to do for that size? Assuming 285 75 18 as I don't think they make these in a 285 70 18.

I went with LT295/70R18 Toyo AT3 and these things are freaking awesome. Installed them on a rainy day so wet traction was tested immediately and they performed outstanding. Stock PRO suspension and I did have to do some trimming of the lower fender liner and remove the mud guards of course.

Toyota should set these TRD PRO’s up like this from the factory!!

Agreed on the weeny factory tires. Don't get me wrong, the Michelens they came with are so reliable and quiet on the road. But it just doesn't make sense looking at it!
