GEN 3 (2022+) Wheels and Tires Photo thread

Pretty much same offset as oem. No rubbing yet. I'll know once turkey season starts if I get rubbing offroad or not.

 

ICON is having a 15% off March Madness Sale. They used a photo I took of my truck on their ad.

 

I’ve been getting around 17.5-18.0 mpg since I put these tires on. Ride quality is fine, it’s something I was really worried about moving to E rated tires. I can feel the firmer tires but it is not bad at all.

 

Where did you get the trd center caps for those wheels?

 

Those are really cool. Kinda retro but makes it look like a HotWheels car. Nice.

With that statement mission accomplished i definitely wanted to be a tad different with all my other vehicles in the past ive always been mainstreamed. Love your army green. Wanted that originally but didnt have the add ons i wanted.

 

Has anybody tried these out? They’re the replicas that are 17x8 +5. Saw them on an FJ and they looked great.

 

I havent tried it but curious how much that replica weighs? Looks legit but probably wouldn't get it if it weighs way heavier then the OE trd wheels

Ever find more info on psi? I did not teally notice much “sluggish” effect but I just bumped mine up to 45 today and going to run them for a week at 45.

 

Thank you! I actually don’t have any lift yet. That’ll be the next step. I was too impatient to wait for a lift for I pushed my fender liner back to make the 35’s fit for now.

I only briefly looked into it. It seems there are many opinions on the subject. One thing that is consistent is to air them up a good deal when hauling or towing, which makes total sense. For normal street driving, it appears to be a little more debatable.

 

I am thinking of a similar setup could you please share some more pics !!

How the alignment? I cant get mine aligned right on the 2/1 dobinsons. Thinking of getting the Icon arms to help.

Aligned great, drives straight. Let go of the steering wheel and straight as an arrow. I'd highly recommend doing new upper arms.

 

Like the upgraded Bump Stops but will probably go Durobumps again ...they still haven't released anything for the rear yet though.

 

Called the manufacturer. 28lbs each which is inline with method and other brands.

 

275/65r20 SL Nitto Recon Grapplers, haven't noticed any rubbing and the ride quality is pretty similar to stock tires

I just drooled all over my keyboard. Black trucks look amazing. Picking up a black SR5 OR this week. Pretty much the look I'm going for.

Nice I am currently having my truck lifted at a local shop with the same lift kit

 

Pictures do not do justice it really changes the stance completely once installed. I was pretty happy with how it turned out.

I’m getting some rub on both the driver and passenger side because the fender liner hasn’t been pushed back. I’d say be prepared to handle that or ask the shop to do it if they haven’t already. I ordered some 10 mm nylon push clips to use to finish that up.
