2024 TRD Pro Digital Rear view Mirror

Apologize if this is a re thread but anyone have a 2024 TRD Pro and did it come with the "Digital display auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass and HomeLink® * universal transceiver?"

In my build invoice it doesn't state Digital, only "Thin-bezel auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink® *universal transceiver", I'm going to be pretty pissed this model don't come with it for the price I'm paying. Look at Toyota's main website and it says the same for the 2023 Pro but no mention of the 2024 model?? Salesman said it could be a regional thing?? I have seen multiple YouTube videos of 2024 Pro's with Digital rearview mirrors, I am so confused??? Thanks in advance!!!

 

Pro has digital mirror, it's all I use now ..would hate to go back to a mirror in personal vehicle. Funny to see the limitation's I never noticed now while in work vehicle.

 

You will get a digital mirror but there is not a compass built in it. It does have the buttons for your garage, auto dimming, and buttons to control the movement and clarity of the camera. I use the regular mirror most of the time. The digital is great when you have passengers or something high in your bed. You also get a much larger view of what’s behind you with no blind spots that the regular mirror has. Enjoy, you are going to love your truck

 

I have the '24 HV TRD PRO and mine is digital and correct no compass, but the compass is on the dashboard display of left side. It's a pretty awesome feature and I haven't used just the mirror. Ive had my truck for 2 days, still acclimating to the bells and whistles, but I'm liking it more and more.

ya, camera mirror is super nice, never had once before , but damn its nice, much better view and even better in dusk evening

 

Camera review mirror is greatly underrated on the Tundra's, really wish my Ford had that. Toyota knocked it out of the park with that camera system all the way around.

 

I do not know how I'm going to act once this arrives, I never had a vehicle with so much bells and whistles other than my 2016 4 runner SR5 Premium (wife's).

I'm actually not a fan of the digital rearview mirror. It distorts the view too much for my tastes. I'll only use it if I have a tall load that blocks the regular mirror.

have you tried adjusting it? I zoomed mine up so it's close to depth of the normal mirror, when it was zoomed too far out, it wasn't as good.

either way, you can just flip it on and off

 

The only thing I don't like about the digital mirror is that your eyes have to focus on the display versus looking "through" the mirror at what's behind you. This creates a little lag when looking straight ahead, glancing to the mirror, then back to straight ahead. With the regular mirror everything is far away so your eyes don't need to adjust focus.

 

I'm with ya on this! I wear trifocals--distance vision is normal--but the camera mirror is at the distance for the middle distance lens and I have to move my head upward in order to get the proper part of the glasses in line with the mirror.

 

Does anyone know of an anti reflective film for the digital rearview mirror? Had to do some funky angles to get reflections off of it especially with the roof shade open.
