Thanks, I'll have to practice on my parts sequoia mirror a couple times before I try it out on the tundra.

Got my bils put on today. Went with notch 2 on stock coils. Ended up with about .75” which was exactly what I needed to eliminate the rubbing of my tires. Couldn’t align it though because the steering rack bushings are shot. Also have a leaking steering shaft boot so I’ll replace those when I do the LBJs soon. Truck ride home without the alignment pretty damn straight couldn’t tell a difference from when I brought it in.

Top pic is before bottom is after.

I've sprayed quite a bit of their "Restoration Shop" Urethane in both the single stage and BC/CC flavors. A Gallon will do your truck twice, with some leftover.

I wouldn't wish spraying a whole car in lacquer on my worst enemy, there's a reason everyone went to catalyzed urethanes.

Nah, i've got a bit more of a chalkboard paint plan. Something thick sprayed on light. J/k with the laquer, but 30 coats of black laquer looks good.

House batteries are all wired up. Right now they are not going to be connected to the alternator. I have a NOCO onboard trickle charger that I’ll use to charge them with shore power. I installed a breaker that will also act as a kill switch so that when the inverter is not in use it can and will be turned off so as not to have live voltage running through the cables.

I can’t believe how much it looks like a Tacoma in that picture. My ocd kicks in now because I had a shop put them in and I’m debating loosening the bottom shock bolt with the truck on the ground to center the bottom bushing but trying to make myself not do it.

Drove mine yesterday to grab some materials at the local big blue box store. I noticed that although the replacement backup camera has a nice picture now, I didn't install the rubber spacers so the angle is now off and it's looking up higher than before. I can't see my trailer hitch no mo so I'm gonna have to take it apart to install the spacers to angle it back down some. Dammit.

Went to the junkyard and picked up a double cab axle housing. Was planning on getting the whole assembly but someone had already removed the axles to take out the differential. Fab shop finished up the cat shield so I'll test fit that this weekend for modifications needed.

From what I read on another thread they are but I'll find out one way or another. Going to use it with the SOS kit and leave my stock one alone.

That's a nice awning you got there. Is it canvas? I've been looking into some hail protection.

Got my 5100's installed. I decided to go with the 3rd position. Sure had a fun time with those top nuts on the rears. I didn't realize how shot my original shocks were until I drove on the bills. So nice.

Thanks i think its a pvc coated fabric. Some moisture gets through, and it holds some mildew, but it stops hail. Except when hail hits on top of a beam.

Got the cat shield mostly in place, some slight adjustment needed before it gets bolted up. Fab shop couldn't do a radius bend so I had to hit it with a bfh to get it somewhat shaped at the back. It'll mount on top of the trans cross member and on top of the sway bar. Should be much more secure and significantly cheaper than some of the pieces I've seen online.
