So I had a first yesterday. We arrived in Pagosa Springs and went out to get something to eat at a Brewery. We were sitting in a room by ourselves, most everyone was in the bar. I was watching the TV an and it was a basketball game but it was interesting because the same ass kept fouling everyone but no call by the refs.

The owner comes walking in with the remote in his hands and walks under the TV an and was staring at me the entire time. He stopped after he walked under the TV and changed the channel and walked off. My wife looked at me and I looked around to check and yep, i was the only one watching it.

Has “anyone” ever had that happen?

When I asked to have it turned back the guy said were you watching that? WTF! So the owner comes in and looks at me and says the same thing. I said when someone is sitting in an uncomfortable position looking up in the air to see a TV, that would be your first clue that the person is watching it. In fact it is very simple to ask since they were the only one in the room.

He obviously did not like my response but I gave zero fucks and continued with his stare down contest. He did not last long

only tricky part would be the bridge to get to the garden once the race course was finished. A lookout/sniper tower could be cool too. Soo much room for activities:mudding::bikewhoops:

Seems like a valid reason to stumble upon their electrical panel on your way out, and perhaps accidentally flip off their main breaker...IF they happen to catch you, just ask "oh, were you guys using that?"
Disclaimer: that idea was inspired by the alleged charges of an ongoing criminal case and is unavailable for discussion at this time.

    So long 2024 Platinum loaner..
In these last 5 days, you've changed my mind about the Gen 3 Tundras, as long as they are Platinums..
You were a sweet, comfortable, and peppy ride, but not $80K better than what I currently have..
I'll be keeping my 2014 with the new cam tower seals for awhile longer...

Follow one of them into the bathroom. While they're using a urinal, step directly into their space and piss in the urinal they're using WHILE maintaining eye contact. This works MUCH better if you do all this WHILE they're taking a shit.
This is for thr next time this happens.

    You're welcome

I've considered a dirt bike course actually! But now it looks like I may end up cutting a diamond into the yard since my kids are getting big into softball

If you had a reasonable amount of kids, like normal people do, I’d say; dirtbikes>softball.
Alas, with the surplus of crotch goblins that you've produced, team sports are much more practical. This I understand. (I have 7 siblings)

Where did you get your TUNDRA tailgate insert?
I think it is time to retire the carbon fiber insert since I blacked out the bumpers..

A good, custom hat is completely worth it. I have two from the Texas Hatters and it's like buying heirlooms.

    They can be kinda addictive.

    IMG_4732.jpg
The grey one was a gift from the Texas Hatters to me and is one of my most prized possessions. I was looking for a hat band after I received it and the owner and daughter, Joella, of the original hatter (he was one of the first Green Berets and had passed from Agent Orange exposure in the early 2000's) pulled the band off of her hat and gave it to me. The lady who made it by hand used to sell them to her dad, so that just added to the pricelessness.

The hat in the middle (half beaver felt, half straw) is a Texas Hatters speciality called the "Half Breed". They also made the band with used shotgun shell casings.

The third one (brown) is one we bought for my wife.

If any of you ever get a chance to visit the Texas Hatters in Lockhart, you really should. It's your old time hat shop. The original Hatter, Manny, designed Stevie Ray Vaughns hat, the hats for Waylon, Willie, David Allen Coe and so many others. His daughter and her son are carrying on the family business.

Cool story - Manny had a home in Buda, Texas on some property. Willie Nelson, David Allen Coe, etc used to drive out there on the weekends and hold jam sessions in his back yard. It got to the point that Lone Star Beer put Manny's house on their delivery route. They'd drop off free cases of beer in the hopes that the guys would drink them on stage at their concerts. It worked.
