Realistic out the door discount on MSRP on a 2024 1794 or platinum

I am starting to shop for a new tundra. In the past, I’ve always purchased using a markup amount from dealer invoice.

What is a realistic amount to pay for a fairly loaded platinum or 1794 over the dealer invoice amount these days (Not MSRP)?

Thanks for any real world input from recent purchases on who has best pricing, and what actual discounts off list price or markup
over invoice you have been able to get.

unfortunately my dealer only sells within a 100 mile radius.

they have 2 avenues for people to buy, msrp (vehicle on the lot) or best price (invoice if you make an allocation reserve request)

thats how i got our 23 platinum for about 5k off msrp.

I would find a dealer who has lots of inventory, search this forum, ppl are getting anywhere between 8-10,500 off MSRP, it used to be 6-8k, but as you know the car dealers are now sitting on excessive inventory and 23 leftovers etc

 

I just got 10% off a 1794, western Pennsylvania. Discounts are certainly regional and vary between dealers.

 

The limited edition 1974 at my local dealer advertises almost 7k off. They offered a neighbor 8k off a limited a few months ago. I think both could go for 10k off. I live in the North East.

 

how do you suggest searching to find those dealerships on this forum?

 

go to cars.com or autotrader.com put in your truck you want and zip code. Then find the ones with some discounts listed. Then you reach out to that dealer, and say I want a bigger discount than what is advertised. They will probably only show 3k off on advertised, or maybe 5-6 with a few incentives thrown in. They will give more if you are a real buyer.

I stopped in a dealership yesterday that had a Tundra I liked and they quoted me $100 over MSRP for a Tundra that is arriving in a week.

unless you have a valid living address within 100 miles of the dealer, they wont sell. that is a hidden caveat of them unfortunately

hidden gentlemen agreement since the way the toyota dealers are laid out in the state, they dont overlap each other

 

My dealer had a 3.5k up charge!! NY is the worst.

MSRP 68132 minus 10k. No Toyota rebates applied (opted for APR instead). Less the $997 dealer add-ons they wouldn't budge on.. actual discount $9003, no?

Invoice price from invoice sheet is 64253, couldn't find the holdback listed on invoice.

I couldn’t get them to budge on the $997 junk either. I went with capitol toyota and got over to $8,500 off msrp so your deal is great! I took the 2.25% Toyota rate vs getting an extra $1k off. My CU was at 6.5%.

 

Reach out to Jim Rouleau broker out of PA. Has good deals, hell I'm from south Texas and got a 24 1794 limited edition in mesquite from him, was 5500 off no adds. So 73.5k before taxes. Hybrid platinum/1794 4wd go for about 65-67k or they could even be less.

 

my local dealers here in the midwest sell ALL grades except the Pro for Invoice +$100. This is before the Rebates of $1000 or $2000 (hybrid). However, buy at the invoice +100$ and 1.99% is much BETTER than taking the rebates unless you pay cash
