Has anyone upgraded their side mirrors to towing mirrors? Did you buy new ones or did you get the tow mirrors from a new year? Can it be done that way?

I have a RH Tow Mirror factory I don't need. I don't like the extra wide mirrors. Mine had one of each when I got
it. I see fine with regular mirror. It's an easy replacement, plastic trim pry tool, 10 mm socket. Wiring socket plugs
are same thru all 2nd gen. So plug and play.
If someone needs/wants a RH mirror and isn't in a hurry message me.

    Very kind offer!

I never had a problem with the standard mirrors (other than the sizable blindspot they create on the passenger side)... Until I started pulling an 8' wide travel trailer. Now I can't see going back to standard mirrors even while not towing. Plus I appreciate all of the additional lighting/signals the tow mirrors bring along with them.

I have not hit a real trail since installing the elephant ears, and imagine they will spend most of their time folded in on all but the widest of forest roads.

Beware some versions of the Boost branded passenger side fold in too far and hit the paint/door panel.

Just looked at the pic above. Mine has a much smaller, maybe 1 1/2" lower mirror. About 1/3 of the width of that one in the pic. Basically a pain in the butt
    to use.

Reading thru that thread, Boost seems to have remedied the issue they were having with the power fold models, tho we have yet to confirm thru a member making a purchase during the current sale.

NON-power fold models were not affected by this defect.

I can also confirm the legend of Boosts epic customer service. Obviously I was not stoked to have an issue, but BAP customer service really took care of me and were quick about it too!

Never know who is selling what new or used, buyers should beware.

Exactly the reason I posted. To ensure buyers were aware of the status of the situation you posted about.

Not sure what kind of guarantees anyone gets buying anything used or second hand.?

I have a set of their powered folding tow mirrors from their 2023 Fourth of July sale and can confirm that I do not have rubbing on either the driver or passenger side.

Although, I am currently dealing with wiring as I had all the options piece-mealed together that I'm trying to add to the Boost Auto mirrors but between the weather and my laziness, I have yet to confirm things with their CS department.
