I have my 2024 tubdra on for a number of alerts (10) that came up on my dashboard. I tried to connect my scanner and found that it would not connect. I went to auto zone and the two they had didn't connect. I checked the 7.5amp fuse all good.
Noe I have a loaner, a 2024 tundra. Ironically it doesn't allow my scanner link up either.
Do any of you have a 2024 Tundra amd have connected a scanner to it? If so, what type? Did toyota disconnect the ability to use a scanner?

Scanners work fine on my 2023... not sure why 2024 would be different. And remember, that is how emissions testing works in most states these days, with their OBD2 scanners. Sounds like you may have a problem.

Thanks, it's very odd. Two 2024s I've tried was a no go. The dealer called and indicated their test equipment connected right up. There is something amiss with scan tools and the 24's. I'd certainly like to find someone that has connected a routie scanner to a 24 tundra and find out the manf of the unit.

I have an OBDLink MX+ and it does not recognize my 24.

I'm not familiar with this unit. Does it read and clear codes?

I just think the company hasn't updated their code to read MY22+ Tundras. I am super happy with the product and I am just waiting for them to release support for our trucks.

A lot of us have purchased the Carista dongle so we could use their app to get rid of seat belt chimes and make other changes. The Carista app does read codes but you have to pay a monthly fee to use it (first month is free with purchase of their dongle). Their dongle does work with other free apps though.

Must be implementing the new OBD3 protocol on the 24's+ with the remote limp mode. That way you can't run from the police when they try to pull you over.
Obviously this is a joke but I did hear opinions talking about sometime this.

I have the OBDLink MX+ and it connects to my ‘23. I also have about a 10 year old Innova and it connects fine as well.
