Hi all currently on 35s but wanting to upgrade to 37s. On my 35s I’m usually off by around 3-4 mph at 80. I understand that there is no recalibration tool out currently to update your tire size and have your speedometer show an accurate reading but I called the dealer to ask if they have a solution since they sell tundras lifted and with bigger tires often. They said there’s no way to calibrate it on their end but said if you disconnect the battery and reconnect it’ll learn your driving habits over the next few hundred miles adjust to the bigger tires and display correctly. Anyone else tried this or anything similar? Would love to upgrade to 37s but not trying to have a massive difference from real speed to what’s shown on the dash.

You can display the revised speed given new tire size on a banks idash connected to your OBDII port.

Didn’t know this was even an option. Tell me more. Is it just a plug and play device that you can suction mount to the dash? I’m guessing it would display codes and you could clear them with it if they ever arise as well?
