275/60/20 Cooper Discoverer's over the weekend. Didnt want anything heavier or much wider than stock. They ride great and were only like $180 each. Pops had really good experiences with them so I figured I'd give them a try.

Added aFe POWER Front Tow Hooks. Getting under the front with the air dam down was fun. Time to get some ramps... LOL! Easy Peasy. Pop off the sway bar bracket and pop these on. Their instructions say you have to loosen the TRD skid plate, but in fact, you do not. They don't even really get close to the skid plate. Still waiting on the NYTOP Rear Recovery Points.

I had these on my 2023. I replaced it with a 2024 and I went to put them on and the air damn does not completely clear it. I had been having a weird popping noise and I think that is what it was.

Got the Venturous bed cap and put on a Westcott lift. Super happy with the bed cap and also how the truck drives with the lift

Very Nice! What was the price of that Cap? I've been shopping for a Cap. Do they color color match?

Thanks! It was $4,500. But I got the shelving on one side which is an adder and I also got the matte black which is oddly an adder. Color match is actually the standard with Venturous. I went with them due to weight. I think it’s 35% lighter than a standard fiberglass cap? But I have no sag in the back and my truck pretty much sat level prior to the cap.

It rides actually really nice. It’s a tad stiffer than stock but it still rides great. I’m pretty impressed actually.

Yes, very nice. I checked them out today, but they don't have an option on their site for a 6.5 bed. :(

Yea their website isn’t very informative. But I want to say they do make a 6.5’ because the dealer I bought it through had me specify my bed length. And he was telling me that Venturous is owned by Ranch (who makes fiberglass bed caps) and they do the long bed so I’d assume they do it in this model?

Mine were captive too, but a little love from my dremel solved the problem. Was very careful not to take too much off so to maintain full bolt strength. Still had to punch the washer off with a hammer. I think I used a large socket that fit over the bolt head.

2024 Tundra TRD PRO, in Magnetic Grey Metallic. Will be delivered in mid Jul 2024.
    WeatherTech mats, hood defector, etc.
As I mentioned in my New Guy intro, I have a 2024 Tundra TRD PRO arriving next month. It does have factory rock Rails/Sliders installed, and I plan to add some WeatherTech kit as well. I have ordered a Smart Cap topper (Evoa Adventure model), and RSI’s Platform Rack to mount up top. Also ordered a Boss Strongbox for transporting firearms, and due to the lack of recovery points, am having a CBi Covert bumper mounted up front, with two recovery points. All work is being done by Adventure Motors in Gladstone, MO. I’m interested in mounting larger tires (35”) on the OEM 18” BBS rims, but so far, it doesn’t look like that size will fit without making contact with the wheel wells. Will stick with the OEM Falkens for now as I get smarter on what will work, what won’t, and what mods have to be made to make mounting larger tires feasible.
