Items arriving for the lighting updates. Truck goes in for some fab work end of the month. Plenty of time to wire all this up

I remember playing video games in the early 2000's on a TV about the size of that head unit. Crazy how far technology has come since then

New battery (Interstate 27F from Costco). I got 5.5 years out of the factory one, so I'm not too surprised. Thankfully my Gooloo jump pack got me running, as the battery died when I was across town, 30 minutes from home.

    So I added this..

    upload_2024-6-5_18-36-13.jpg

Went with the Torque kit and cradles. The install was easy and all parts are working, no air leaks. The truck has 5160’s and Icon leaf paks, but with the shell, drawers and assorted heavy stuff the leafs were flat with the trailer hooked up.
Dropped the bags to the minimum 5lbs and ran over the whoops behind the house. The ride was great with no bottoming out and no bounce.

Iove my bags! I don't see a down side. Air up when towing, air down when running the truck only.

Same. I run 5-10 psi when not towing and 40 psi with our travel trailer.

They were just so bouncy for me when unloaded. I couldn’t find a PSI to run them at when empty without them being super bouncy. Switched to RAS HD.

Check the build link in my signature.
I wish the name brands would release something like that built with known/quality components and decent firmware . There’s so much there to like, but also so much BS dealing with janky Chinese firmware on those things. In my 20’s I was up for that challenge…now days I just want shit to work.

Is there a specific terminal or will any of the Vgate terminals work?

im the same, but i dont mind tinkering if it works out. So far it hasnt been to bad. Plug and play and 30 minutes later its all working (i think - lol).
Only time will tell and if it doesnt work out, im not out a bunch of money and will just sale it to the next guy.

Installed my Rugged Radios GMRS radio and antenna. It's only temporary as I don't have time to re-route wiring and coax to the location I want. The antenna comes pretuned from Rugged.

Already got chatter on this thing!

Starting the lighting swap. Removed the ditch lights and rewiring/reorganzing the switch pro panel also. Next week I’ll tackle the LP9 harnesses and get those pre ran so they’re in place and ready for the end of the month.

    Got KO3s in 275/65 R20s mounted…no rub at all!

So far they perform much better than KO2s in the rain!

The velcro adhesive failed on my dashcam power adapter, so I found a different way to tuck that away. Emptied out a bunch of stuff on the truck and am drying out the bed now. Getting ready to load her down for a camping trip. Oh, and I just sold (damn near gave away) my stockers. at least this weekends fuel is paid for and I have that work area back in my porch.
