    But here are some pics.

    Pull up the cupholder.

Remove the 4 circled screws holding the cup part to the surround.

Pull the old foams, then install the new ones using the little nubs to install the proper way (they're keyed)

Pics I have on-hand from mine. (edited to add the 1st pic with screw IDs)

Yes, I found the two sides and replaced both of mine. And sold off the originals. No significant change in operation, I believe I mostly just spent money to have a little less dirt :)

Do the foam inserts actually work when in good condition? Mine were all worn out when I bought my truck, and I figured even new they probably sucked. Cup holder would just want to let my cup tip over as it was, so I did my own little mod with some PVC and bike inner tube. Holds my cup well. Will post a picture later.

I like it. I have a 2nd gen DC for a work truck so I'm in a 2nd gen more than my best gen. I've been looking at 4wd 5.7 DCs with a bench seat though. No plans to buy, just lookin.

Bench seat means small gas tank.

Generally speaking, yeah. The OEM sharktooth-shaped ones, at least. I can't speak to the aftermarket rounded ones. I either sold or gave my OEM black housing with aftermarket inserts to alb1k before using.

I have seen some of the cheaper aftermarket rounded ones will sunbleach to purple colored if they're consistently in the sun, though.

Some extra pics. Here's the OEM foams next to the aftermarket you'll find on fleaBay. And what the underside looks like with circles on the screws you need to remove to separate the halves. I'll edit my post above to include these.

I 3D printed a set out of TPE for mine. The file is available on Thingiverse.com.

I remember that, but I think I looked on a small screen. What's up with the resolution on that one bumpout, at 2 o'clock on the right side, 8 o'clock on the left?

I used a feature called “ironing” to try to improve the surface layer, but it doesn’t work very well with TPE. It actually shows up more in the picture than in real life.

Is there anything you can use to smooth out TPE, like acetone, MEK, etc.? (not that I'd ever recommend using MEK, that shit will destroy your lungs and olfactory, but it works wonders when you really need it!)

Not sure… TPE is pretty tough stuff and very chemical resistant. I could probably tweak the top layer settings to make the appearance more consistent.

Futzing around online putting a parts list together for my summer of madness refresh on the 2000. Sitting at $1600 between my Rockauto and Toyota dealer parts. Gonna try to score a better deal on the Toyota parts. Current parts list just straight price on Ourisman is $620 with shipping

Rockauto buggy is sitting at $950 with shipping

I haven’t but I know someone that has. They ordered a couple things. Took something like 3 months to get a couple items that did not match their description, and when they asked where the 99¢ item was; out of stock, sorry. We refund you 99¢. It’s right up there with Wish and Temu, and also signs you up for a lifetime of spam marketing emails. YMMV

The Southeast Toyota 25% off deals seem to be occurring more frequently now, think they've done three of them so far this year. Maybe they'll have one again around the fourth.
