I’m done with my Carista. Let’s do a pay it forward so members can use it then pass it on.
First person that wants it I will ship from my end. (I’m sure super cheep to ship) Download the app and do a one month membership. Do your truck or whatever then When done delete membership
And account then pass it on to the next member. First I’ll take it gets it shipped. mods, if not allowed or need to be moved let me know. Ty

Wait! Unless I misunderstood the OP, I am bound to pass the device on. I suppose I should say:

First one to say "I'll take it" to my post will be the one to get it after me.

    I think.

See, no need to question whether I have descended from canines or humans. :D

I tried the $6 Bluetooth OBD dongle on AMZ and a one month membership to Carista. Reset and tweaked my settings a couple times then cancelled my membership. Worked great.

Please PM your address, and I will send it to you as soon as I configure my truck.

Once I send it to @lapoolboy I think he gets to send it on. At least that is my understanding of how the OP intended it to work, but please correct me if I am wrong.

If anyone is in the Denver area, and could meet me in Parker, they can have my Carista module. I recommend the following tweaks:

    1. Turn off fake engine noise.
    2. Turn off over-bearing seat belt chimes.
    3. -2 degree AC calibration adjustment.

Those are the tweaks I did. There may be others you might like.

What rock have you been under? On higher trim levels, Toyota pipes intake noise thru the sound system to simulate a V8. Some like it, others think it's cheesy, like me.

I highly recommend everyone keep a dongle like this or a techstream setup in their newer Toyota's at all times, especially if you offroad or take long road trips.

I have seen more than one modern Toyota go into limp mode and have used my setup to clear codes and get people moving.

The latest TechStream 18 does not fully work with the 3rd gen as they locked the subscription and software. I say "fully' because some people claim to have partial luck? But I wouldn't trust a 3rd gen with Techstream if I had one of the new trucks. Gen 1, 2 and 2.5 with Techstream 18 works perfect.

I know Techstream is being phased out, but legacy software still works.

I've done a bunch with it on my 23 Tundra, including programming two extra keys.
