Just installed the Alu Cab Contour Canopy today from Tiny Rig Co. in Westminster. Daniel and his dudes are solid and do amazing work.

This is one of the best looking toppers I've ever seen! How does it function with the rear window roll down? Do you find you don't mind the restricted airflow? What's your opinion on that?

Thanks! Not a ton of pics of this model out there, so a little bit of a dice roll... But I'm super happy with how it looks. So far it seems really well made too.

The side windows don't open much, they tilt out at the back like 1-2 inches. The window at the front has a slider, can tilt down, and can be fully removed. So that can give you access between the cab and bed. Our dogs will appreciate that. Haven't really tried it yet though. I'll report back when I do!

@CV60 yep, that's the one. Something like a 12wk lead time to get it here in MT.

Guess it is time to sign off. Traded for 2024 F150 XLT , 3.5 ecoboost, black out, FX4 , tow/haul pkg almost 2 weeks ago. Really enjoyed this site and all the good information / advice. But we have a lot of trips planned with our travel trailer and just could not do those with the engine safety recall pending. Luckily was able to get a big discount of the F150 and a decent trade for 2022 Tundra TRD ORP so the out of pocket wasn’t terrible,, just unplanned. Good Luck and safe driving / towing :)

Best of luck! I know someone who traded in their 3rd gen truck for a baby duramax this week also crazily enough.

Looks like my Tundra TRD PRO has gone through final inspection at the factory and is being prepped for shipment to my dealer here in KCMO. Arriving between tomorrow and 7 July. Will get pics posted up once she’s home with me.

I ended up finding mine at Jay Wolfe in September. Thankfully they were willing to negotiate the price.

If you have a 22/23 I understand. Always having that thought lingering in the back of your mind if this trip is the one where it lets go and leaves you stranded.

I’m looking at some serious negotiation with my sales rep and the truck sales manager as well. Plus, trading in a 2019 4Runner Limited that is in excellent condition, 47.5K miles, 90% of which has been on road trips around the country with my late wife. Every single service on time and performed by Molle. Not 3 months ago, they wanted to buy it from me for $35K.

You ordered a truck and haven't negotiated the price yet?

Didn’t actually order it…my sales rep called and said it was on the assembly line, and asked if I was interested. I said “yes”…if it’s not too late to add rock sliders. They did, but if they give me what I know my 4Runner is worth, and shave $ off the price of the truck, it’s all good. Gave them a $500 deposit…that’s all. Considering everything that’s been going on with the 22-23 Tundras, I believe they’ll be willing to negotiate a price. I was initially interested in a 2025 Trailhunter 4Runner or Taco, but wasn’t willing to wait until the middle of 2025 to see one, due to all the pre-orders.

Ahh ok. Yeah, I'm sure it's easier to negotiate now even with the 22/23 recall than it was when I bought in September.

Aimsoil 75w90 rear diff fluid replacement at 36560 miles. It looked like shit since I tow often. Don’t sleep on diff fluid gang. I put 6qrts in until i got a good stream out.

Hmm. I did mine @ 30k miles as well, since I tow quite a bit myself too, but I can't say the old fluid looked any different for any other truck I had in the past. Just your average "meh" 30-50k used diff fluid.
I went with AmsOil ... and will probably never change it again in this truck's life time, no matter what anyone tries to scare me with.

I had them do the fuel line recall, fix my door card (broke the clips replacing the external door handle) and oil change. 34 for clips. 175 to verify and install them lmao.

I flew from Florida to buy my limited trd OR hybrid there. They had a $9000 off sign on a red truck when I went to pick mine up. Got $8,500 off myself pre negotiated. You can probably get 5k off the PRO.

“Hybrid malfunction” 12 volts charging malfunction. Who knows. Second time, last time was the hybrid inverter.
