Sorry if this has already been posted, as well as answers supplied in response to it, however I was struggling with determining what OEM options are available for replacing the OEM stock 1794 chrome grill? Was looking for high gloss black if avaialble. Do I also need to replace my Toyota sensor in my present grill or can I reuse it in the new grill? Don't want to do the chrome killer, overlays or whatever you want to call it.

    Thank you!

Thanks much for that. So I currently have the
Grille Insert - 1794 Silver (With Camera) - Toyota (53101-0C180)
(as illustrated in the photo) and want to swap it out to this
Grille Insert - Capstone (With Camera) - Toyota (53101-0C200)
so I am assuming this would be a simple swap out no additional part required???

The placement of the front camera does vary a bit between the different grilles, so you may need a bracket to reposition the camera.

I feel like smoked chrome would look better but not really worth all the trouble…I’d let it get beat up for a few years and then freshen it up.

I went from a TRD Off-Road Grill to a TRD Pro on a '23/1794. Can confirm you will need a bracket to adjust the angle. There is some guy that sells 3D printed ones, worked great for me. But you WILL need that bracket if switching between grills for different trims.

Also, just FYI. Keep your old grill. I had to have a parking sensor recalibration (which includes all cameras), and the tech tried giving me a hard time that I was using "non-OEM" parts. Said in order to honor the warranty, I would have to put it back to factory conditions. I had thrown mine away and they wanted either the original grill, or a ~$300 TRD Pro camera installed to calibrate. After some hemming and hawing they agreed to do it, but it was an issue.

Ok thanks, so by the look of things I could get the TRD Pro w/camera grille 53101-OC220 and use the westcottdesigns bracket and it would set me back approximately $220 total, not bad. I think it would look better then the silver 1794 OEM grille I have on their now, I don't think the chrome/mustache trim would look to awkward with that TRD Pro Grille?? Also, is the "TOYOTA" a silver color on that grille, it almost looks bronze to me.

I went with a heritage grille on my platinum...i had the black chrome but i ended up covering it with colormatched bumpershellz. The TOYOTA is silver, not bronze...at least on oem grilles its a true silver

Yes it is silver, darker than the silver on my limited's mustache, but silver.

The cavity is why I got my light bar. It would have bugged me every time I looked at it.

Has anyone gone from a Limited grill to the grill found on TRD Off-roads and Sports? I've had the heritage grill on my 2.5 gen and like the simplicity of this one with the honeycomb and toyota logo. I found a nice Limited near by but no TRD package.

What did you end up doing and would you be able to upload an "after" photo? I am in the same boat right now with a 2025 Midnight Black Metallic 1794 hybrid and I want to start the 'chrome delete' process.

If you went with a matte black grill, how does that look with the glossy black body paint? I was thinking I'd need to go with a gloss black grill, but the TRD Pro grills look so good.

I put a 1794 grill on my 2023 SR5 with TRD Off Road package. I still have the black grill and the black piece that goes under it that says "TUNDRA"...

Change my Platinum grill to the Heritage grill. Also had my body shop paint the mustache body color. Very happy with the results.

    none....yet!
I like the looks of the smoked chrome platinum, but the pro grill looks great too. I think i'm eventually going to swap my Sr grill to the platinum and body color the mustache and fog light bezel.Decisions decisions, lol! Great looking trucks, guys!
