Noticed you're having that shipped to a Toyota dealer :monocle:

Are they doin' the install for you, or just using them to avoid the whole residential delivery thing????

Yeah the Toyota dealer is doing the install for me with the hope that my warranty won't be voided. I only have 5000 miles on this truck. But either way I rather have Toyota do it than any other independent shop.

That's awesome; I thought Toyota service departments all stopped doing that... Just out of curiosity, do you mind me asking what they are hitting you for the install???

I installed the MESO-Custom's steering wheel volume fix, blackout trim and the center console blackout kit. Trying to drill out the plastic welds on the shifter surround was a pain, so I used the oscillating multi-tool. Was able to pop the shift gate trim out, but it needs some help staying in place. Had to pick up some epoxy and will glue it down when I get some clear matte spray to dull the shiny plastic that remains. I should have gotten some blackout or red toyota logo for the airbag part.

I wonder why nobody has come up with a mod to put Gen2 sized cup holders as a retrofit, I really hate how small the cup holders are in the Gen2.5's. Hell, my Acura MDX could hold my 32oz bottle in the door or just barely in the console. This isn't even close.

    Looks great!

I haven’t seen anyone with this on the forum yet, but apparently AJT Designs makes one…pretty pricey for what it is…

They actually sell a plastic weld. When I did mine I didn't drill them. I was able to separate it and I had parts of the plastic rivets remaining so I melted them with a soldering on to reattach it. Amazon has emblem overlays for the steering wheel.

Step 1. Bought Truck Step 2. Mod
Disconnected the negative battery terminal to install a 4ch amp to replace the god awful non JBL OEM junk... Ran all power and ground, connected everything to the amp (outside of the actual factory radio, I have not connected there yet) and now after reconnecting battery, I'm getting 3 faults... Trailer brake error, manual brake override error, and pre-collision system error.... All saying take to dealer. I'm about a month left on the warranty but I generally do ally own work. Any thoughts?? Am I posting in the wrong thread?

Where did you tie the remote turn on (blue wire) to and I'm assuming you did a homerun routing for power and maybe the ground?

It's not that important, I have a couple of 20oz bottles as well as a 3D printer, I just haven't bothered to print on in PETG and I don't have an enclosure or anything other than PETG that would be suitable for use/keeping in a vehicle.

I sliced that one and made it multicolor, so the top of the TRD inside is red. I think it was going to take 16 hours or so, and I didn't want to bother with it right then.

I'm using a .6 nozzle in my Prusa Mk3, and torn between upgrading it to a 3.5/3.9/4 or just getting a Bambu Labs one, so I don't print much lately.

Yeah, I saw that mod, pretty ingenious. I have some brass bags for my range bag that hold my 32oz bottles easily, but the place that made it in CO has gone under. I don't know if the CEDHK ones are big enough. https://www.cedhk.com/ced-ammo-brass-pouch
