    Annoying AF.

I'm standing outside in crutches watching my woman and stepson drag limbs over to a pile while these bastards drive by gawking. Get out and help or don't look at us...

Lots of trees and fences down everywhere. But here is the most crappy news!! We live along the gulf coast and the electric is out not only is it out they are saying that only half of the 2.2 million people will have electric by Wednesday. They are paying some guy over 900 thousand a year and the electric is still messed up!!! Most of the electrical is buried so this problem should no exist. Something has to be seriously wrong with the management to have this happen most of the time! We had 100 mph winds in Houston a couple weeks ago so a blow of 60 to 70 for a couple hours should not be a big deal. This is absurd!!!
Everything is pitch black out, it is some kind of dark!!!

Hoping everyone is fine and no one was seriously injured during this storm!!!
We had so many branches and leaves down I was out in the storm raking the streets so the water could drain! that and the clean-up :) paying for it today!!!:)

Couldn't agree with you more when it comes to the mismanagement of our grid. I wanna say there was an opportunity to join with the national network but was voted down. Go figure.

Drove all over Hell's creation to find gas only to come up empty. Then tried a couple rural gas stations down the road from the house and hit gold. Thank goodness for mom & pop stations.

Latest Entergy update is "half" of the outages will be fixed by tomorrow. If you've been an Entergy customer for some time, you'll probably take that with a grain of salt, but it's somewhat of an update.

Just went by the warehouse. 3 giant doors ripped off. No injuries

no power on east side of houston it appears

picked up the Billy goat leaf vacuum. Leaf cleanup should only be done with a motorized machine.

Since we have a 1000 gallon gas tank at work, we let our folks fill up for their generators. The gents were lined up.

    we b civilized

Center Point text yesterday and then this afternoon. This place is not organized, then I get a text from a city guy I know is the the contractors are pulling into Jack Brooks Park. Read the two Center Point texts!

I heard the judge (that lady for Houston) said they did not call out for help to standby because they thought it was going to Mexico! Where do they get these people from???? Hells Bells they have not done anything for over 24 hrs!!! Now they say several more days without power!!! Completes idiots in charge of running the show!!!

    Wow.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger because here in MoCo Entergy is King and they couldn't care less about the plebes. Drove all over looking for gas and didn't see one Entergy truck.

Finally got my power back just this morning. I was stuck in the Frankfurt airport for 48 hours coming from Africa. Sugar Land took a major hit from what I can tell. And these fuckers man, took forever to get the power back. My son had no idea how to work the generator :( I need to teach him for sure. My house is perfectly fine and funny enough I got a new roof about 4 weeks ago, hail and hurricane proof and it did awesome. The 2 Tundras are safe lol, as I asked my son to park them away from trees and homes, in the open. Shit was everywhere.

We got power back at about 10 last night. (Lake Houston area / Centerpoint). People just a mile down the road are still out.
From everything I’m reading the people with Entergy might still have a few days.
