Extended Warranty 23 1794

Good morning. First post and I'll be brief.

Looking to buy a used 2023 1794 with 17k miles from the original owner.

I'm worried about the engine recalls etc. Searching the VIN, there is nothing about the engine recall as of yet

I'm seeing on the forums there is a person to talk to (Jerry?) who may offer extended warranties.

Can y'all point me in the right direction?

This thread has everything you need. I went with FD-Warranty and worked with Troy. Heard prices were the same between the two but Jerry can be hard to get ahold of. With Troy I had everything done the same day and the documents in the mail like a week later.

 

Troy quoted me $2000 for the platinum 0 deductible 10 year 125k. Sounds like a steal to me. Will be purchasing

Also to further on Maine TRD Pro’s post, when asked about how you heard about us don’t put tundras.com or you will get an error. I put tundras forum and it went through. But the first couple times I tried I put .com and it wouldn’t go through. But yes, Troy sells Toyota platinum warranties. I did an 8 year 100k mile warranty and it was half of what the dealer I bought the truck at was charging.

 

Appreciate the replies. When I buy, I'll definitely hit up Troy for the warranty. I'm excited for the truck but would feel More confident with the warranty having my back.

When it’s said a 10 year 100,000 is that added to your trucks age and mileage? Or is that the total numbers from when new

 

Total number from new. The extended warranty kicks in as your 3 year/36k mile warranty runs out

Bought an 8 year/100k warranty from Jerry on Monday. $1,255 total cost. Jerry is a really nice guy and grateful for the business. I sent him a text around 1 pm and he called me back at 2:15.
